Hmm. How is Anchorage more dangerous than Fresno, Ca or even North Las Vegas?
For one, it goes by "per capita". That is why a place like Camden (1) is more dangerous than a place like NYC (256).

For two, the criteria they go by is a bit skewed as well. It includes: "murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft." This may include things like domestic violence, as that is considered "assault". So there may be 50 murders in Fresno, but there might be 40 assaults and 50 burglaries, and 30 cases of domestic violence in Anchorage.

Apparently you haven't seen teh Gangland episode
I did see that.

That whole ICE Cold Killers episode. Really has nothing at all to do with 2009.

HT, and all the Cali gangs that made they way up here, was real relevant in the mid 90's and late 90's. 2006 was alittle hot in the summer.

I live up here now, and gang bangin don't seem that relevant no more. Only the samoans you'll see str8 draped in red, but they might not even be bangin' at all.

But Anchorage got its crime. I just can't see it beating Fresno at all. I mean Anchorage can have up to 15-25 murders a year, but I know Fresno doin' 50+ every year.
