some people didnt like it...i liked it..it fit the style or idea of how the characters would/could be in a real setting...reptile having a that rare skin disorder was perfect...baraka being a surgeon sure why not or even crazy dude that loved piercings and body modifications..it would make sense

but the whole story went another way and they tried to keep it closer to actual story and pretend land...now baraka looks retarded and all make up....the real world baraka was full of piercings, body mods and botox....and it worked...that trailer from last year should have been put into motion for a full length feauture...hopefully it does...the web series so far is blah

Yeah, the series is mediocre so far. I still don't like the doctor baraka. And if they had any sense, they wouldn't have released that photo of Baraka. I have a feeling that, in better lighting and with color correction, that baraka could be ok. And if not, oh well. I'd still rather have it than Baraka MD.

Either I wouldn't do a "real world" story with Baraka, or I would shroud him in mystery; make him seem inhuman but not really explain what the hell he is, keeping him in dark lighting.

I've been reluctant to watch this after seeing that cheesy ass preview and the comments here make me think its for the best.

I just breezed through the episodes but so far they don't seem as violent or scary as the trailer they originally made.

It took me a minute to get used to the surgeon Baracka but he seemed much more intimidating as a former doctor who got addicted to surgery and ended up acting inhuman, even abandoning the use of speech.

That picture of the updated Baracka looks like a cheesy costume.

Just saw the episodes in full. They're okay, but it seems like a average looking series compared to the REBIRTH trailer. The og trailer looked like something from THE DARK KNIGHT. The clips of Reptile taking someones head, Johnny Cage being beheaded by some insane surgeon that acts like an animal, and the brief story background of Scorpion's profession and him killing the wrong brother. The whole thing was intriguing and creepy.

Maybe the director didn't have much a budget or something.
