I hope Baraka stays, he's not even my favorite, but since his return, he's much improved. That was something I didnt think of, what you said about his species stayin just comin back with a different name.
I agree about Sub-Zero and Scorpion staying, and being PART of the characters who made it a franchise. Why they killed off Lui Kang, and then brought him back for Shaolin Monks is anybodys guess....or they explained it at some point and I missed it. That WAS a major player though. That damn bicycle kick he did was the SHIT! Seein him fly across the screen sounding like he's tryin to name his yet unborn. Good times.

damn....maybe they made the rule only those wit two feet can fight.....i duno, or mybe thats another type of centaurian....im pretty sure to be a "qualified" centaurian, it dont mean you need 4 legs.....
also, shaolin monks is said NOT to be in the Mortal Kombat cannon in which me know.....so at the lui kang is really dead....well, physically, but spitarually he is still alive...thanks to the raiden for the sacrifice he made

Yeah, I liked Lui Kang from the get cuz his moves were hella easy....and annoying to people who didnt use block. Dead Lui Kang? I aint finished Deception or Deadly Alliance so I dont know. When they changed up to 3 fighting styles per character it became too much for me....at the time. Kung Lao is tight too.
Sidenote: Motaro looks gay now IMO.

yea, dead lui kang is unlockable in Deception i think...its a zombie version of lui, with broken chains hangin from his wrists. looks pretty cool.
i actually like the 3-fighting-styles feature...it adds more to the character's move set, without forcing you to remember several button combinations (like in tekken). but they fucked up when they took out the ability to stab your weapon thru your opponent in Deception...still, in most other ways, its superior to Deadly Alliance.
i hope they make another Shoalin Monks style game, maybe centering around jax & sonya (Special Forces doesn't count), or sub zero & smoke...weren't they sposed to be homies before smoke got turned into cyber-smoke?

So Cyrax is in, I guess, human form now? WTF? I need to catch back up on this. Its been so long since I was into video games as I used to. I was always the kid on the block who got the new shit the day it came out, I still am that guy, but its movies, music, and other forms of media.
