can someone tell me who knows this shit, coz i've forgotten, is that 45k basically 22.5k x 2 (double disc) ? weren't doubles counted as doubles for some kind of a chart and weren't for some other kind of a chart.

What if you put out a triple disc ? is it triple the numbers sold? even if you sell it for the price of two?


That's a great achievement for Tech. getting into the top 10 is good PR definitely. and will help sell more records. Remember how AP did pretty good and then it went down and then there was a huge campaign (probably the FTI) and the sales made another peak.

no the 45k on hitsdailydouble is for each actual sale.
RIAA certifications count each disc as a unit,
witch i am unsure if they have changed the policy recently.

Releases counting multiple times for multiple discs only works with RIAA Certification, everything else goes on actual sales (thus meaning one CD case is 1 sale). If a release has over 120 minutes, then each disc counts as a unit, thus I take that to mean a four disc release over 120 minutes would only need 250,000 shipped albums to attain Platinum Certification.

45,000 is awesome, but how does that compare to the first week of everready? I cant remember what he sold in the first week.
