WEAKEND SALES REPORT: The top three albums will remain that way for the third consecutive week, with Capitol’s Coldplay at 150-160k, Cash Money/Universal Motown’s Lil Wayne at 140-150k and Disney’s Camp Rock at 130-135k. Interscope’s G-Unit (110k-115k) and Columbia’s live John Mayer CD/DVD (70-75k) are the week’s top debuts. Capitol’s Now 28 (60-65k) and Columbia’s Three 6 Mafia (40-45k) are up next, followed by Strange Music’s Tech N9ne, debuting with 40-45k. Def Jam/IDJ’s Rihanna and LaFace/ZLG’s Usher are virtually tied at 40-45k, with Epic’s Alkaline Trio bowing with 35-40k, the same amount as Atlantic’s Kid Rock. Capitol’s Katy Perry, Reprise’s My Chemical Romance and Eleven Seven/Motley’s Motley Crue are all at around 30-35k on the fringes of the Top 10. (7/3p)

That puts him number SIX if he outsells 3-6, Rihanna and Usher (it's close) and number NINE if he doesn't...a top 10 debut anyway.

Seriously, what indie artist can do that without a music video and little radio play? Atmosphere debuted at #7 a few months ago...but their sales were at 30k.
