mENACE...BEST ON IN MY OPINION IS THE MAGIC 3 MODCHIP, ITS A NO SWAP CHIP (MEANING YOU DONT HAVE TO SWAP DISKS TO PLAY BURNED GAMES)


I JUST GOT MY SLIDE CARD THING I MENTIONED AND IT WORKS GREAT, I WOULD SUGGEST GETTIN IT SINGE YOU DONT HAVE TO SOLDER ANYTHING AND YOU CAN REALLY FUCK UP YOUR PS2 IF YOU DONT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO....


THE NO SOLDER CHIPS WILL CAUSE YOUR PS2 TO BURN OUT...DONT USE THEM...READ SOME OF THE MOD CHIP MESSAGE BOARDS ON THE NET FOR ALL THE INFO...

YEAH...SOME YOU CAN USE A CD BURNER, SOME NEED TO BE DONE ON DVD IF IM NOT MISTAKEN.....

The Magic 3 is a clone of the Messiah 2.
As far as I know, only the Messiah 2 and the DMS3 can be turned off. The DMS3 is the best chip out right now, it allows you to change the bootup screen of the PS2. It has all kinds of unique features. Look it up for the full lowdown.

As for the Burner, the cheapest I've seen it is for $150.
Look for it at www.pricegrabber.com
You can burn all CD based games on CDR.
But you can find ripped games that were on DVD and are now stripped to fit on CDR. I don't know how it's done but I know that they stripp a lot of content out the game in order to fit it in a CD.
I've also seen where people split the game up in 2 or 3 cd's.
Do a little search on google for more info.

whats funny is games like Madden 2004 and NCAA 2004 cant be played online if there burned....that NCAS shyt bloccs it from online play...i guess theres somethin on tha disc that cant be read.....i use tha flip top /w magic disc's ive got roughly 80 burned games already.....that and u can download em as well....eaziest way to tell between dvd and cd is by lookin at tha bottom
Clear Bottom = DVD
Purple Bottom = CD

now burning xbox games is a bytch

Yeah that's why you need a stealth chip for. But you still need the O.G. game to go online....

The flip top case and magic boot disks is the best way to go if you don't mind swappin disks.

Xbox burnin ain't that bad. All you have to do is FTP your Xbox to your PC and ripp the game into your PC's harddrive and then burn it from there. It sucks now though, you have to patch the newer games in order to make them work, it's the same for newer PS2 games. I don't even bother renting anymore, I hate patching! I just buy my games from a few connects. You can't beat $5 a pop, what is it like $7 for a rental now?.... Not worth it...

hey was that flip top hard to install?.....i saw that after i placed my slide card order and thought i should have gotten it....


yeah dvd games are 5-10 bucks on the net....i seen one place for $1.75 for ps2cdr's...damn hella cheap

tha flip top is too eazy to install ....all u have to do is replace tha old cover by takin out 8 screws and 4 on tha inside....put it bacc together and ur done....and yeah tha swapping can be annoying....and Miggidy as far as patching is concerned u can go around it all u need is a CD Loader....its a really small file but goes around tha double protection problems....i burned tha new Tomb Raider and Soul Calibur 2 without problems as long as u use tha cd loader tho......but it was well worth tha 40 buccz i paid...and u can download games on off tha net being that ur on aol.....gotta love cable and aol (well not really aol but the servers who use it to help us out)

i juss do covers for tha actual disc i guess i can add a cover to tha jewel case and i dont cut down files i use dvd-r's if its a dvd game and cd-r's if there cd games personally cuttin down files to me fuccs up tha game
