You'll beat us on Sunday..........and then get knocked out in the first round of the playoffs like always. The Chokers could be 16-0 and would still get knocked out in the first round.

Since when did the Chargers become known for choking in the playoffs? After just 2 years? I think you're getting us confused with your A's, homie.

I'm a padre fan and we choke like a mother fucker. 13 years with out a playoff win for the chargers. Ill take a decade with a AFC west championship and other playoff wins over one with none.

But in those 13 years we've only made the playoffs twice. Too small of a sample size to be labeled "chokers". Not to mention that the last time we made the playoffs before 2004 we went to the Superbowl.

so you dont respect rivers but you respect cutler? the broncos were talking shit all week leading up to the game and just cause they show rivers on camera barking back you have no respect for the chargers? makes no sense

true that...but...it seems as if it was mainly between him and Cutler. And those two, I would say are near the same level, so they should be able to talk shit to each other. Now, if he was running his mouth at Champ, then that's different, but I don't think he was.

Anyone know the source of the issue, though? It seems as if this was a bit more personal than the shit that usually goes on in games.

from what i heard it was champ calling him out all week. basically it stems back to last year on sunday night football and again this season at denver. Also Brandon Marshall was interviewed the week before the game and said that they'll be back the afc west is thiers and always has been and will be.

Also cutler was jawing it up early in the game, so thats that. I think when Lynch tossed LT's helmet upfield it just opened the gates even more.

Let it be known that i love river's passion, he's fiery and lets it all out, i do think that some of his act shows immaturity, but hopefully that comes with expierence.

I do think however that this "he has to prove himself" thing is bullshit. If you look at his numbers in his second year as a starter, he is right up there with manning, brady, shit even elway. And that whole gots a good team around him is a cop out, of course players make you look good. thats the game, look at denvers o line and all the no name running backs getting paid cause of great seasons. Look at Brady, this is his best season ever, is it a coincedence that he has weapons like never before?

Bottom line is that Rivers doesnt even have to be great for this team, all they ask is to manage the game and not to give it away....
