has anybody else realized that at the end of the album there is an instrumental right after the song termination.
Yessir, and that shit is hard. Mitchy should have put a sixteen on it. Hopefully we'll get a reprise of that beat. Who did that beat Mitch?
I swooped it up from Warehouse over in El Cajon on Tuesday. It is fo sho a slumper. The only tracks I ain't feelin is "Yeah Dat" (mostly because I like the original so well) and the 2 produced by Muggs. And I usually like his beats but for some reason they just didn't sound right to me. Not that they are wack, I just ain't diggin them as much as the others. My only real complaint with the album is that there is only 1 Cricet beat. I know Mitchy is trying to expand and hit new avenues but Mitchy Slick on a Cricet beat is IMO the deadliest combo on the West right now. Just tell me that there is plenty more to be heard from this tandum in the future. A group album maybe??????
All that said, I recommend this album to ANYONE. Gangsta, Hustla, Pimp, Backpacker.........there is something on it for everyone. And if you on the West Coast and have yet to swoop this shit up, GET UP OFF YO ASS IMMEDIATLY AND PURCHASE THIS ALBUM. If you don't cop it, you have no business on this site. The shit Mitch is doin is taylor made for what we all want to hear, that real, throwback gangsta shit. GET A BAR!!!!!!!
