Slick, I think a lot of it is that niggaz, don't understand that as people the more we are exposed to different ways of life that our minds start to grow and we see that there is a better life out there for us. And some people would rather kill your dream or even you then to see you become something that they never felt they could. I seen this happen in my own family homie, I've seen certain relatives rather see they kids be average then see they kids reach they full potential.
You just finally seeing this manifest itself in your own life now, and I know it's confusing and it hurt to homie.To think that people you would lay your life down for, wish you bad. But just know that you ain't the first to go through this and won't be the last my nigga.
As far as the structure of the hood goes, same thing is happening in almost every hood in L.A. homie. These new era niggaz don't respect nothing or nobody homie, OG or not. They feel that the big homies are weak and that they hesitate to much, that's a quote from a young nigga locked up right in norwalk homie. When you see hoods like ETG taking the Crip off they name and just pushing Gangsta homie, you know that things really have changed

Thanks Homie.. The truth is, jealousy and envy are part of being human.. This world is filled with "have not's", Niggas who stay comparing, "Why does he have that and I don't" instead of being grateful for being alive, for having your momma, or whatever positive's are present in that nigga;s life.. Success is breeding a lot of envy out here. Whateva the issues are people need to understand this is beyond rap or music now.
