I cant believe Tejada was on the List.If he was using too why didnt he have numbers like Bonds or McGuire?Shit Is starting to fall apart in the MLB.
hm, maybe because steroids doesnt =insane numbers. 1st off, this is whats wrong with the "steroid" scandal, everyone thinks that steroids=record shattering numbers and CHEATING CHEATING CHEATING! you still have to be a good player, otherwise steroids wount do shit. 2nd, for being a shortstop, tejada has always had great numbers, and until last year, hadnt missed a single game since he started playing.

Miguel Tejada was regarded as one of the best players at his position when he was with the A's. He was taking shit then.

And in terms of A-Rod:

The original "whistle blower", Canseco, says the list is incomplete and he couldn't believe A-Rod wasn't named in the report. It's a little hard to think Canseco's lying after this shit all comes out that he was saying years ago.

I really thought Tejada wasnt juicing but this list suprised us all.I thought he was just very talented at playing baseball without any help.I think all these players named could of accomplished what they have without Steroids.

I ALWAYS HATED THE A'S ORGANIZATION FOR LETTING TEJADA AND GIAMBI LEAVE BUT DEFINITLEY SEEMS LIKE THE RIGHT MOVE NOW. A-ROD IS GOING DOWN TOO, JUST CUZ PLAYERS ARENT ON THE LIST DOESNT MEAN THERE IN THE CLEAR.

No McGwire or Sosa? Hmmm maybe they a different source for thier roids
The Mitchell Report was based on info from 2 or 3 people who talked... I'm sure there are hella more that haven't been caught and/or haven't talked. I think these 80 are just the tip of the iceberg.

McGwire was mentioned in this report, though.

Bush Says Steroids ‘Sullied’ Baseball, Forgets His Blind Eye Helped Nurture ‘Steroid Era’ »

Earlier this week, former senator George Mitchell released a damning report on steroids in baseball, noting that “for more than a decade, there has been widespread anabolic steroid use.”

President Bush — an avid baseball fan who sometimes watches games in the Oval Office — addressed the report today, saying he is “troubled” by the steroid allegations. Bush “hopes that this report marks the beginning of the end of steroid abuse,” said Press Secretary Dana Perino. Bush added:

I think it’s best that all of us not jump to any conclusions on individual players named, but we can jump to this conclusion: that steroids have sullied the game. … And my hope is that this report is a part of putting the steroid era of baseball behind us.

Watch it:

“[P]ayers and the owners must take the Mitchell report seriously,” Bush ordered today. But from 1988 to 1994, when Bush was managing general partner of the Texas Rangers, he turned a blind eye to steroid abuse.

Several former Rangers — Ivan Rodriguez, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmiero, and Jose Canseco — were all alleged to have used, or have admitted to using, steroids while playing for Bush. Gonzales, Palmiero, and Canseco were identified in Mitchell’s report.

Jose Canseco authored a book about steroids in baseball during the early 1990s and argued that Bush must have known about the drug use. In July, sports columnist Skip Bayless — previously a sports journalist in Dallas — said Bush “looked the other way” when working for the Rangers:

I knew the President when he was owner of the Rangers. And I heard all the whispers around the locker room and the clubhouse. … I think he looked the other way.

Ironically, Bush wants to put “behind us” a steroid culture that his negligent management helped foster.

A's:

Randy Velarde
Jason & Jeremy Giambi
Jack Cust
David Justice
FP Santangelo
Cody McKay
Adam Piatt
Miguel Tejada
Jose Guillen
Jose Canseco

I really expected Ben Grieve to be named as one of the A's from that time.
Mark McGwire
Johnny Damon
Surprised Eric Chavez is not on this list cuz him, tejada, jason, jeremy, and johnny were all on the team at the same time. That would have been the whole oakland infield at that time.
