I have to disagree, from my observation the first guy to get major radio play in the Bay recently was Keak.. He opened them doors with White T, Blue Jeans, n NIKE's, and a couple of songs before that.. "Hyphy" was an okay hit but it didn't jump off no national movement.

You given the Fed's WAY TO MUCH CREDIT...Keak's blue jeans, Frontline's What Is It, all of those Done Deal Mix Tape tracks The Team had a record getting play. They all came before Hyphy (the song not the craze). The Federation are the lucky group chossen by a super producer. The Federation's whole existance is based on the hard work of other Bay artist (and again a proven producer by the name of Ric Rock). Plus that song "Hyphy" had more to do with the beat, the word Hyphy being used and of course E-40 (not the Federation). Don't get me wrong I like SOME of their music, but I'm just saying you makin it seem like they are the reason for the Bay getting attention...is WAY off.
