thats exactly how i feel, Ya Boy's shit sounded like a big front to me to be honest, ya boy got heat but the album is highly over rated, i think his 2nd or 3 album should really be the shit though. but rookie of the year hella seems like one big ass subject. Son Of A Pimp is perfectly balanced with a taste of everything. im around drugs, guns, hoes, etc. every fuckin day where i live, so i really aint tryna hear that shit for 60 minutes.

@Frisco Playa, you shoulda made a Poll, im curious to see what the results would be

albumwise: Ya Boy takes it.....he has just some feelgood music you can bump, bangers, club songs, all that. Alot of those songs on the album could be big singles. As an artist FAB is versatile and has good content in some of the songs, but I felt the album couldve been better (SOP)...lyricwise Ya Boy takes it..they are both good MC's in their own right.

i love how everybody knows everything about every rapper in here!! lol... i was there when ya boy was doing them songs and he wrote every fuckin verse!!! so ya: ya boy be writin all his shit!

u can't get too many honest opinions on here cuz most people wanna just root for their favorite rapper from their region. a lot of people in here aren't up on ya boy. a lot of people in here have NOT bought the album yet! i'm NOT taking anything away from FAB he makes good music fasho, ya boy put out a great album.

man i have fab album and personally i think that shit was the tightest shit. every song in my opinnion was heat. but i aint heard ya boy album yet and listening to the comments make me want to pick it up. but a nig just moved to michigan and i doubt they have it out here. but congrads on both of them for making some good music.

Both of the albums are hard. FAB made a more Bay oriented album. As where Ya Boys album is more of a universal album that could appeal to a more national audience. It just depends on what you're lookin for.

2 me they both almost got the same but ya boy was more like goin stupid and gettin hype. FAB was like talkin about his life and what goes on around him. it just depends what u like more they both good albums 2 me i like both.

i like fab's album more...like somebody mentioned earlier,doesnt seem like ya boy has much to talk about,gets repetitive and boring pretty fast,not saying he is weak by any means,he is dope and his album is knockin.but as of right now fab has way more to offer

I'd expect to hear a comment like that coming from someone who's in dude's camp except the disrespect by saying F.A.G. Your opinion is biased don't ya think? And how you gonna say you can't stand Mistah F.A.G and then say you give him respect? Don't make no sense, you just disrespected him by calling him mistah FAG. But I do agree with you on one thing, " I cant listen to ya boys all the way threw."

Ain't this guy fake? This aint no Done Deal Kenny, its some imposter! Hahah, but anyways, man... both of these real ass flow-spitters hit super hard. Its just the content that appeals to each their own - Man, who would have thought, we finally get to comment on Bay 'content' instead of only 'production'. I just feel good about all these Bay cats droppin this year. IMO I kind of hate hearing '2006 is the Bay's year' and all this other shit, I mean we've been sayin that every year for the last 3-4 years... last year was '2005 is gonna be it', etc., Every year someone puts out some super heat - and that's all good. Fuck next year, its this year, next year, and last year... its whenever.

I say if both of them cats dropped on the same day, whenever this year, I would buy both albums... At least im feelin both Bay Classics... yes, Classics.

Mistah Fab is killin ya boy as a rapper but ya boy's album is better. Ya boy got them slappin ass beats:"on fire","turf 2 the club",and "its easy", dont none of fab's beats slapp like that. fab will eat ya boy wit them 16s
