I'm a white boy and I listen to alot of Norte music. So quite with that bullshit. But I feel what your saying. Most of these people don't even give it a chance and it's OBVIOUS. Because if you listen to alot of the new up and coming Norteno artist you would know their shit ain't all about 'Kill a Scrap' or whatever the fuck they are saying it is. Hell most of the time not even 25% of the CD is about that shit. I lisetn to alot of ECC camp because they have SKILL. And I gurantee more then half of these cats that are hating on it now would LOVE it if they just put down the hateraidea nd actually listened to a complete CD all the way through. But on a side note. Woody I copped that N.E. 6 the other day, that shit's slaps. Good looking out on another great piece of work bro.

i think the reason y ppl dont like NORTE rap is cus ppl dont understand the muzic. alot of ppl like from the east coast and dirty south think LA is "the west coast" i think there is alot more hidden talent in the bay. keak da sneak finally got play in some mid west cities.i personally think the BAY AREA is under rated. what did u hear first "GET CRUNKED" or "hyphy". if somebody from the dirty south heard songs like hyphy or super hyphy then listen 2 "crunk muzic" he/she will prolly say that bay muzic is a rip off of "crunk muzic" i listen 2 the sleepy santino presents THE NORTHERN LIFESTYLES alot i think that cd has alot of potential 4 main stream but there is those "big time " producers that dont try 2 listen 2 bay area muzic its self. i think the only big time rapper is gonna help the bay area is DAVID BANNER. MESSY MARV has a cd comin out next year and hes DAVID is on a few trax.if there were more rappers like MAC DRE he was down with alot of NORTENOS and he gave them a shot. i could c NORTENO music changing every year. back then thier was only DARKROOM out puttin it down and it use 2 b just reppin and skrap killin. now look at NE6 and alot of the releases this year. its now more open 2 more audiences but not alot of ppl try the muzic. 1 of my friends doesnt listen 2 NORTENO MUZIC now i got him listen 2 WOODIE and NE6. he went 2 the store and bought NE6. back then NORTENO MUZIC use 2 b targeted at NORTENOS now its more open. its just if ppl can get air play in the mainstream alot of ppl like WOODIE, LIL CONER, ALL OF THE STL CREW AND MORE THEY WOULD HAVE A REAL GOOD CHANCE IN THE RAP GAME.

Ive been listenin to Norte music jus only 3yrs!!! There are some that have alot of talent, especially ECC, that should have made it big N the market. Most of the time Im always buying the compilations than the artists solos, cause Ive noticed some Norte comps. do open up, other than homeboys, havin them jump on they comps. Like for example...Black N Brown Ent. Most of they comps got Norte, Blacks N other homeboys down for the music. Jus by seeing things like that, I notice more homeboys workin with other peoples, than jus the Norte scene, as of other Bay artists. Jus cause of the Nteracting wit each other, I see Norte music makin it big later on down the road.
