Miguel Cotto vs Antonio Margarito II

Cotto did a good ass job...I thought sure he would start to tire around the 6th round but he maintained his conditioning and boxed all the way through the fight. Margarito's punches didn't look as hard as the firts fight...now that Cotto took out one cheater to avenge his first loss...hopefully he gets a chance at the other cheater who put a "L" on his record. If he fights like he did last night and Manny cramps up and looks like he did against Marquez then "Revenge part 2" will be a cake walk.

Cotto put on a show luvd the fight. He should leave top rank and go to golden boy, he would make a lot more money and finnaly get a shot at money may without the Bob father in the way

Cottos pretty much my favorite fighter and it wouldnt be a good look for him to fight Mayweather cuz he wont be able to land, he has a hard time landing against defensive fighters or actual boxers with movement. Also the same goes for Mayweather cuz it would look like Floyds taking Mannys leftovers for once. I really would like Cotto to fight Chavez Jr., i know know there has been a lot of chatter about it happening in the past year

The difference though is this is a completely different Cotto. When he fought Pac, he wasnt himself and coming off that brutal loss to Marg was still in his head. He looks refocused and may be his best of his career at this point. I think he could actually beat Pac after what I saw last night. Got Em!!

I am not a fan of both Cotto or Margarito. I wanted Margarito to win thou because of his druglord locs.

But truth be told Margarito has not looked good and he has no power in his punches since being caught with the handwraps. He got KO'ed by Mosley, beat to death by Manny, and TKO'ed by Cotto.

Margarito without the handwraps = a bum with heart.

Cotto, Paul Williams, and Kermit the frog should take him to court for using handwraps against them.

after the fight cotto said bob arum will always be his promoter and he kissed him on the cheek and bob looked like he was about to cry, so all the rumors about cotto signing to golden boy I think are dead now. So rule out mayweather, canelo, etc.

For better or worse I think what we will get is Cotto vs Chavez jr., which if Cotto could win would mean another belt in his fourth weight class, which would be a huge accomplishment as I don't think any puerto rican fighter has done that before.

How the hell did Margarito get so slow anyways? He didn't use to be that slow. Age I guess. Even the home viewer knows when he's about to throw and where. It literally takes a full second and a half to get there.

Mike Jones fight was so fucking horrible. And the fact that Mike Jones (Who?) Mike Jones (Who?) let that fight go the distance was inconceivable. He was way bigger than his opponent and he never ever hurt him. It was a boring horrible fight.

Wolak - Rodriguez fight was cool. I liked seeing that TKO.

Rios let everyone know what was up. They kept talking like he was gas'd during the 4th 5th rounds but I guess he was just saving himself for that TKO. Nice fight for him now he needs to move up.....

My boy Margarito was just victim to a simple game plan. Hit the right eye and the fight won't last long. Cotto's group new that Margarito wasn't going to give up. Yes, Cotto won. He completely outboxed Margarito who looked as slow as a 50 year old in the ring, but NO Cotto never really hurt Margarito. Besides his right eye, Margarito looked fresh. He just kept laughing and smiling Cotto off. That was hilarious to watch.

Props to Cotto, but honestly I wasn't overly impressed with him. Margarito was just too slow and then blinded.

I think margarito was hurt, he just doesn't show it. In the 8th and 9th round Cotto was really sitting down on his punches and it started to look like Mosley vs Margarito. If you recall, against Mosley, Margarito was smiling and laughing the entire time, even when he was knocked down on the canvas. Dude is just crazy. But cotto was landing some hard power shots the last couple rounds and it looked to me as if Cotto was going for the knockout at that point.
