No. It's because this years draft is loaded at OL and not so much at other positions. Nice try though lol.
Try? Its just an opinion and observation Lol. The original argument was that first guy thinking O linemen get picked really high all the time. I guess I should of worded it better cuz it does look like its all in 1 thought.

Raiders made some good moves finally. I never even heard of the dude the Packers drafted but he's gonna be great cuz Ted Thompson drafted him. I gotta start watching more College football besides just Badger games.

Jerruh is a fucking retard. We trade down with the Niners, no big deal, we can get more players. So he fucks it all up by drafting a center, projected as a third rounder, in the first round? Are you fucking serious? We have O-Line issues, but I feel like there are more pressing needs than a damn center.

That and this years draft was considerably less talented on the QB, DB, DL, side of things. And picking OL is one of the safest things you can do as a GM because they almost never stick out to be HORRIBLE as your QB, DL, or WR's do.....

So I agree that this year's draft was loaded with OL but also the talent pool was just not there.

Glad my KC Chiefs got the best OL available in Fisher. That kid is a beast on film and he is fucking HUGE!

I think it has less to do with teams wanting to be like the niners and more with the lack of talented 'skill' players in this yeara draft. When u look at most boards and mock drafts everyone is projecting o linemen as this drafts top prospects. Not because everyone wants to be like the niners
People want OL becuase its the best way to build a championship team. Good QB's can only do so much, the big uglies set the tone on both sides of the ball. You think Shaun Alexander would have been as good as he was had he not had the best left side in the history of the game?

Winning starts in the trenches. And for some bizarre reason, GM's and coaches got confused for about a decade and only took QB's and RB's as big time players. Give me a solid OL and DL, and build around that.

Why do you say Bears are losers? They badly need to upgrade their o line and they got a guy who's 6'6, athletic and ready to start in the NFL. Yeah they probably picked him too high but he's one of the best guards in the draft and the bears need to fill that hole..its a good value to the bears and they already signed a pro bowl tackle in the off season so now that side of the line is set and should be a huge upgrade compared to that horrible shit they had past few years.

completely agree.

Look at Chiefs in early 2000's... for another example.
