Young Action "Action 2000"

Anthony Felder,B.K.A. Action, has been rapping and singing since the early age of 11. He has seriously performed for the last seven years . Within those seven years he has perfected his craft. In 1997 Action went forward to release his first album, Action 2000. When record sales started to increase Universal and Priority started to take interest. During that time Action received airplay for the single "No Coast". Stations such as VI 00 Radio Milwaukee, WI, Las Vegas' KCEP and Chicago’s 107.5 WGCI and AM89.3 WNUR have had his single in heavy rotation. Action had been on the road as an opening act for such artists as: Adina Howard, Malik Britt, Redman, Method Man, Keith Murray, Erick Sermon, New Edition, LSG, 702, Junior Mafia, Rass Kass, Ice Cube, Westside Connection, Too Short, Crucial Conflict, Do or Die, Twista, MC' Breed and Luke. Action had his eyes set on Universal long before Cash Money and Nelly, but a car accident would have the artist first. At the time known as Young Action, he was hospitalized for six months with another year of recuperation. Late ‘98, early ‘99 Action was released from his contract with Maurog after the label failed to pay the artist from his record sales. The album Action 2000 sold 30,000 units.
Action spent the next 6 months in the studio recording 58 joints. The idea was to find the right investors, go independent and clench a major deal. Action decided to shop for 6 months to try and get a deal. 550 Sony, Relativity, and Atlantic were eager to sign Action. The artist was expecting to probably close a deal late February early March 2000, but on January 3, 2000 Action was shot and paralyzed for five months. By mid 2000 Action returned to the studio to record 32 new tracks as he prepared to try to get a deal and be heard. He also returned to the road opening shows for CNN, Lil Kim, Shyne, Ja 'Rule, Lil Zane, Carl Thomas, Limp Bizkit and Tela. Currently a few labels have told the artist that they have their eye on the 20 something year old M.C.. Action is preparing now to independently drop his 2nd album in hopes to rise from the underground to take over the mainstream.. Several radio stations are now playing his hot new joint "Flow", and labels like Priority, La'Face, Universal , Interscope and J Records are starting to inquire about the rapper. With the right push, Hip-Hop should make way for its new star. Point blank, if you 're looking for a hot new rapper who's original, unique, and dope with a capital D, then you need not look any further. If you 're looking for an MC who can flow East, West, Midwest, North and South, whom is versatile and raw wit it, your search is over. If you 're looking for that high- energy performer, party rocker, crowd-pleasing rapper, a rapper with the rhymes, the style and the look, well look no more. You can put Action right on the level with Silk Mystical, Snoop, Xzibit, Eminem, Nelly, JayZ and DMX. He is that caliber of an MC. Rather freestyle, a written full song or even a hot 16 bars this artist stands to be one of the best commercial or underground. So be aware, it's time: Lights! Camera! Action • 1997-1998; Action 2000 album 30,000 units sold 7500 sound scan radio stations pickup (II IN, NV, WI) Also offers from MCA, Universal, Elektra • 1999-2000 (1) Mix Tapes DJ'sfrom down south, Midwest, and east coast promote M.
