i got that motorola v266 shit broke in 2 months.. just turns off by itself..
anyways the only way you can put ringtone is if you buy it from that @metroshop or sumthingh on yo0ur phone

You can use your own ringtones if you have a data cable and Motorola Phone Tools. Just as long as Metro hasn't disabled access to the area of the phone. Which is what he's trying to find out. As far as I know only Verizon criples the the ability to use your own MP3 ringtones.

Not on the Razr. Unless you hack the phone which voids the warranty. On most the other phones you can w/ a usb cable or Bluetooth w/ bitpim or by using a card reader with a memory card if the phone supports it. Except bluetooth is extremely slow since Verizon disables OBEX which means no file transfers. You have to use BT serial connection which works @ dialup speeds.

i have the razr for verizon and i can record songs but they come out pretty shitty so now i just bought a ringtone..i think the razrs hella pretty sick..but i see hella people wit em..

damn i wanna know this shit...the guy at metro told me that it couldnt play mp3s...he doesnt know wtf hes talkin about though lol...fuck ima go to my brothers house and play around with it.

figured it out guys, thanks! if anybody cares, you CAN put mp3s and pictures on the MetroPCS Razr but nothing else (games, etc dont work)...
