I understand he is sick...I agree! I just dont dig the production on his solo albums as much.

I am a real Mess fan. I just dont dig his solo stuff as much as his colab stuff. He is sick with his flow and his lyrics, but my point is that I feel he need a little bit better production with some harder beats. I would not have said he was one of my favorites if I wasnt a fan. If he made a cd with all hard beats to it, he can tear almost everyone rapper up on the mic. He is raw!

True, however, I dont care how good the rapper is, if he has a shitty beat I probably wont like the music. I like the beat 1st and then the lyrics 2nd. I like his lyrics of course, but he can do so much better with his beats. IMO him and Quinn are the best of the bay, but Quinn has way better beats. If Mess made an album like the Rock with that production, Mess would tear it up too and it would be way better than any of his solo albums. 'I'm just spittin the truth here! I am not hating on Mess at all, just giving my opinion. I think my opinion has some valid points too. I mentioed this before and a lot of other people agreed with me. For example, he sounds great on that new Bully's single with EASKI and he was great in Explosive Mode2. I havent been able to find Explosive mode #3 yet, but I cant wait to cop it.

can we not all agree that he would be even sicker with some harder sicker beats? That's my only point! He has so much talent, but he cant show it as much on those slow beats. He is hard and thats why I want his beats hard. He would make the best bay area cd of all if he got all hard beats...Im telling you guys.

I have said this before in the past, but I need to say it again. He is definitely one of the sickest rappers out of the bay as far as style and spittin on the micfor sure, however, the production on his albums suck. I am so tired of hearing his new albums and hearing nothign but R&B beats on it with Mess rippin it up.

He is the best with hard ass beats. I wish he got production like Quinn and Big Rich have and then he would be unstoppable. I like him a lot on Explosive Mode #2, because the beats are hard.

Mess is definitely a boss, but in order to take his game to the next level, I think he should go talk to Mal Amazing, Sean T, etc. for some good hard beats.

Any of you guys feel me on this? I am a big fan of him rappin on compilations and duos with Quinn, however I just don't dig his R&B albums.

mess got a raw ass flow and a flawless delivery and knows how to ride a beat but HE IS NOT LYRICAL.. lyrically he is JUST OK.. his flow, delivery, voice is what makes him one of the better rappers in the bay not his lyrics..

quinn aint all that IMO.. quinn better then mess lyrically but he bores me to death cuz he always sounds the same and his beats suck most of the time..

Not the rock! If Mess made an album very similar to the Rock with those faster beats he would tear it up. I just get tired of listening to his r&b beats when he has so much to offer. Thats like Quinn making an entire album of songs like "So Young." That would suck, especially when you know that both rappers can rip it!

Mess is hard and I think he should get harder beats and get rid of the r*&b and you all would see him step up as the best in the bay. Make an entire album of beats like Explosive Mode #1 and #2. That's my point...

True! It is his flow that makes him so flossy. I like his lyrics too though. His flow is sick. His flow doesnt sound as good on songs like Momma and other slow ass r&b songs. Those beats dont show how ill he really is.

Understood, however, Yuk and Quinn have good beats to spit on though. Mess needs to step up his production like they have. He needs more aggressive beats to spit on and he will kill it!
