If Mess suing Circus Circus that aint snitching at all, that's just called getting paid. That's like getting rear ended in a hit & run. Unless your stupid, your back hurts everytime. I think Mess doesn't need to say anything, since so much is out already. Regardless of whether Marv was in the right or wrong, this is a westcoast issue. This aint just a bay problem. Why can't everyone get along and push the movement as a whole? I like Fab, Marv, and Short. If Marv and Short made an album together you know that shit would slap! I think that's why nobody blows up on the west. Noone has to pretend to be friends, but everyone should find a way to musically mesh and have a general level of respect. Bone Thugs, Mobb Deep, and Capone N Noreaga all have internal problems but they eventually put shit aside and get their $.

You're absolutely right... I agree with you 100%

But this all boils down to support, or therefor lack of. For some strange reason in the Bay, when someone gets on, it seems like the support is there but then it fades too quickly.

Radio for the last 5-6 years have not really supported Bay artist, but then again they never really have.

I believe for a Bay artist to really be successful they need to get outside the Bay and create a new fanbase. Prime example, would have to be that boy Berner. Like his music or not, he is a networking genius. His hard work, and promoting his own product have paid him dividends.

If more Bay artist hustled as hard as he does, success would be inevitable. The main problem for most, not all artist in the Bay, is they want things handed to them on a silver platter. Maybe lazy, or just don't have that million dollar drive that all artist should have.

I think most artist think it's almost better to be a one hit wonder these days, then to be an actual artist and I think that most of these rappers are only looking for that 1 golden goose egg, instead of being a longevity artist like E-40 or Too Short.
if there was an artist that had what it takes from A-Z (including the people he surrounded himself with from a business perspective) to really get it on a kendrick lamar level they would have done it already. it doesn't have anything to do with lack of support, it has to do with a lack of artists generating the support.

I know this probably isn't popular opinion but I think Kendrick Lamar is kinda corny. Image wise, I don't think he keeps it very westy. He can spit, like a new York cat. I think everyone is anxious for the next thing on the west, but I don't think he is it. I also think some people are waitin for the next pac, and that won't happen. I think the west needs to just bubble like its been. Cream rises eventually and shit always comes full circle

He is overly hyped, the machine is doing it's magic behind him, creating his buzz.

he definitely didn't get to where he's at because rappers and promoters in LA 'support' each other. he did it because he made his own moves, something anyone who wants to get somewhere should be preoccupied with.

Where did Kendrick Lamar come into this? lol I think he had a lot of momentum coming off of mixtapes and stuff. He can spit. He bites off of Bone way too much. But he can spit when he wants to. His mainstream stuff is super wack to me though. SUPER WACK.

WTF are people talking about, holy fuck. Kendrick is a great artist. GKMC wasnt even that good of an album but as far as being able to make great meaningful music K-Dot is that dude. If u think hes wack after listening to Overly Dedicated and Section 80 i dont know what to say. Oh and fuck him for being himself right, why he isn't he acting like a studio gangster? It really shows how fucked up of a mindstate some of yall are in
