wiliambreed-chill homie. Yeah, I know alot of dudes are flyin red now. I actually think its funny. I"m a grown man too, so I dont really trip on that stuff anymore. I can only think of a few fellaz and the bangin on wax guys that were the only ones flyin it back then in the 90's.
gangsta music is gangsta music. street music is street music. It dont matter if they are bangin red or blue. The message is all the same, kill, dope deal, sell crack, hump bitches... hahhaha. Its just these katz say blood or cuz more often.
I bump they music, but whats it matter if he says that. If kids buy into false claims with out doing their own research, then its on them. I live in SF now, dont really care bout the hood stuff. Its none of my biz. I figure if someone is gonna claim something, they have to come straight with it. Or someone is gonna check ya. Its kool to claim Blood on camera and in music videos, but the streetz is real and someone is gonna step up to test them... and that's when you find out if he is down for his or not.
I personally think Dipset is more real that others say. Its eastcoast, but Harlem aint no joke either. Those katz are just a product of their environment. Just like alot of people that grew up in bad neighborhoods.
Lil Wayne.. well that's to blame on Mack 10... but hey, he's pulled a ton of cash lately and in this age of DL and piracy... he did a good job.
As for koch goes. A deal is better than no deal IMO. They also have alot of great talent in their roster if you think about it. It just doesnt have the money or resources the big companies offer. People clown Koch, but hey, its keeping some great music out there (IMO). And they have the distribution.
An Album getting pushed back happens all the time. Its not just because he is a blood rapper or a mainstream blood. He has also gotten more buzz with it being pushed back and did video for My life. And MOB (Jim Jones) well, People aint feeling that Byrdgang aint what it was with out Stack Bundles(RIP). But alot of people flop. Its could be a few factors, but the main factor is people dont buy albums like WE used to back in they days. I was coppin anything West Coast if I can afford it (which is why I have a bunch of worn out tapes ahahha). Now when an album comes out, you can find it in a couple of days online somewhere.
I dont know the story of Guce and Mess.... and I mentioned, I dont really care because their aint nothing I can do about it. If they make hot music that people can Identify with, then its gonna keep going. I do think being a Blood has something to do with it. Like I said, Bloods didnt have much music, as Mitchy Slick said, "Tailor made". So those people that identify with the Blood rappers are gonna bump it.
Regardless, its music and that's all it is.
No hate homie.
