well if you would have read the rest you might get an understanding of why i said it...if it were best of 5 the lakers would be on the verge of elimination after game 3, the twolves would only have to win 1 out of 2, as opposed to now they would have to have won 2 out of 4...and as much as it seems that everyone hates on the lake show, the majority of the people want to see if the lakers can 4 peat, they are after all the world champions...if they were eliminated in the 1st round, then tv ratings would drop for the rest of the playoffs, and a lot of people would be losing out on a lot of money...make sense?
As far as ratings go it makes alot of sense, that is in fact why they extended it to 7 games, but to target the Lakers in the manner you did is just obsurd. They did not extend the games from 5-7 so the Lakers would not get eliminated... shit if it were 5 games right now the Lakers would be waiting for the second round with their 3 wins. The Lakers have one of the most amazing playoff road records under coach Jackson, and thats saying alot when you consider who they beat.
that's no excuse dog, i'm no laker hater, i think it'd be coo to see phil finally break the 3peat and get a 4peat for once, believe what you want yea the lakers would have won the series if it was best of 5 but that's not the point...the point is the lake show didn't really have a shot at gettin home court advantage when stern anounced that round 1 would be best of 7, and say what you want but when the series was 2-1, or whatever it might have been the lake show had less of a chance of coming back as they would out of a 7 game series...and as a lot of people who know hoops knows about the bandwagon hoppers jus like when jordan and the bulls were runnin shit, so that's that many more people who watch hoop who don't really know what the fuck is goin on like a lot of you fucks on this board (if you take offense to that you are one of them)...now if all those bandwagoners and die hard lake show fans alike all stopped watching because their squad is out (including all the hollywood stars and everything else in that LA area), thats billions of dollars in revenue that none of us will ever see...so think what you want but the 7 games had a big part in helping the returning champs...
Because in the "Lakers" thread he had absolutely no commment on the Lakers. He's always making threads questioning our absence and now your getting sour because I made your boyfriend look bad? If so did u see Ko-Me force a shot in the 2nd quarter just now and Shag had good post position but Ko-Me forced the shit anyway, and Shag got mad and told Ko-Me to pass him the ball!!! Yea has atleast 7 dimes at this point, but damn it shouldnt have to take Shag tellin Ko-me to pass him the ball in order for him to start passin feel me!! I just think Shag should touch the ball everytime down!! Did he refuse to give you his autograph??? damn cause u are always all over him, even on that post about the defensive player of the year u had to come in and give your 2 cents how kobe didnt win and wasnt even in the top 5, just because he didnt get it or was in the top five does not make him a bad defender but Czar what happened between u and KO-ME
