Kobe has probably the biggest fan base out of anyone in the NBA, I think its safe to say, that if his shoes don't sell, then they are some ugly lookin kicks, thats the bottom line.

I know those players have huge a fan base but, Kobe lead ALL players in All-Star voting, and you guys are so sure it's not his playing ability, so something has to give.

Ko-Me doesnt have the biggest fan base!! The allstar votin varies every year, and if u go by that, then V. Carter has the biggest fan base!! It is street credit homie!! Thats why Iverson has the biggest selling shoes next to Jordan of course!!! GOT EM!!!

I thought Kobe had the most votes out of all players, including Carter, correct me if im wrong. It's not street credit, Kobe's shoes were ugly, so they didn't sell, thats the bottom line. Iverson and Jordan sell shoes because they look tight, not because they have street credit. Im wearing Iverson's right now, I could give a fuck about where he's from. If they looked like the last Kobe's I saw, I wouldn't even consider buying them.

Do you honestly think that most of these cats wearing Jordans know anything about his credit in the streets? They don't buy his shit for that, they buy it strictly because of what he does on the court. Kobe's shit doesn't sell because there UGLY, thats all there is to it.

No, but a huge fanbas helps. Vince Carter has a big fan bas in the U.S., but do you think he would have gotten that many votes had he played for a team in the U.S.? Just like Yao Ming, that dude had China votin' for his ass. Kobe doesn't have Italy behind him...
