His lawyers did'nt want him to have to appear in court.By him not being there,it makes the charges look like there ficticious,and Kobe has no desire to waist his time by appearing.Also,it keeps his face out of the media,and gives the impression that Kobe thinks this case is bullshit.We will see.I think he kinda did rape her now....Who knows.
