i myself mainly eat chicken and let me clarify my statement. If it was 200 AD and you just tried to eat vegetables you would have a short life span against those who ate meat. Bc you would eventually die of malnutrition. What i was saying is that in order for us and our ancestors to survive back then you had to consume other animals to obtain fatty acids. If humans just ate vegetables back then im sure we wouldnt be where we are today. With todays technology its fine to just be a vegetarian because of everything made from soy. But back in the day this wouldnt happen.
well, you can get a lot of those proteins and fatty acids from beans, and nuts, and they did have soy beans i'd imagine back then. i'm not a vegan or anything but i know my fair share about it cause my mom was a vegetarian for years and this chick i just stopped fuckin is a vegetarian. lol.

but, you don't "need' meat to live. you can get the exact same minerals, nutrients, etc from other sources.

you don't have to eat meat to be healthy. in fact, most of the meat we do it isn't healthy for us. especially today. red meat, is not good for you to eat more than 1-2 times per month. the tax payers just happen to fund the cattle industry so we get it for cheap....if the taxpayers didn't fund the cattle/beef industry, we'd be paying $30 for ONE pound of ground beef.

lots of stuff is like that. i'd rather eat tofu than beef to be honest....i grew up eatin tofu and stuff like that cause my mom was/is a hippie type and she was a vegetarian....

but...like i said....you could survive on a lot of shit that's not meat...even 1000 years ago. they did have crops of foruit and vegetables etc. i do believe that the Egyptians had them....hense crops by the Nile...and it flooding each year and them planning for it. that's long before 200 AD :)

look for "monosodium glutamate."

that's MSG, and it's in DAMN NEAR EVERYTHING. cheetos, chips, most shit in the freezer.....only chips i've found that DO NOT have MSG.....are salt and vinegar, and plain chips.

since then ive decided to just eat whatever the fuck i want haha...eventually ill be unhealthy, when i get to that point, i'll switch it up and just eat hella chicken salads

most people don't notice health problems from shitty diets until they're over 30.

nope not right becuase SOY is the only vegetable that contains all the amino acids *not found in other veggies, and the ones your body cant make without them* that your body needs to replicate its cells, and thus survive for a long time. All others come from animals or your body can make them. I doubt SOY beans were grown everywhere humans were..

where did i say it was grown everywhere? i didn't. and so you know, there's record of people from south america traveling to africa long ago. finding coca leaves in mummies. so it's not like transportation was non existant. i'm not sayin they traded soy, lol...but come on dude. people weren't isolated.

i have a hyper active metabolism...i eat ALL DAY LONG and i don't gain weight...everyone says "wait til you're 30"...even my dad, he use to be like me then he hit 30 and packed on some weight...altho he drank a lot...but hell, i smoke a lot of pot. lol....

but a lot of people don't notice adverse health effects from the food they eat until they get older...when cholesterol actually matters...etc.
