it's just funny that these hoods in ny had established hustle spots for generations, then all of a sudden they all claim a gang from la...
nutty block, eighty trey, anygang you can think of in la, they got in new york now...why'd cats have to sell out?
man, the bay is the closest spot to la with gangs, and you don't see us bangin blood and crip like crazy, certain cities do, san jo mostly, but we stayed independant and did our thing, and some cats on the other side of the country gotta all of a sudden switch to bloods and crips
wheres the history?

did you not read what eiht was saying, he wasn't saying there aren't no slums but just the westcoast style of things is what these eastcoast dudes trying to imitate. they have projects, boroughs and not i'm on a porch posted in my dickies with an SK.
eiht isn't dissing eastcoast, manne he was in the damn wu-tang video for can it it be so simple in the landcruiser with ghostface.

they way eight is making it seem is like tha east is now doing what they used to hate about tha west coast...but since a couple of muthafuckaz do something like tha west now he gonna diss em... all of those that eight is speaking on are all heavily influenced by WEST COAST HIP-HOP, they them selfs admit it, so its obvious that they gonna reflect their influences... BUT AS FOR THA REST OF N.Y. OR THA WHOLE EAST COAST that shit still doesnt fly with them...they dont like 50, camron ect... & they still dont like tha west, south or anythang that isnt N.Y. affiliated... nothing has changed...

MC Eith is still one of my all time favorites. He is better than CamRon and 50 Cent. I wonder if he gonna say Geah 8 hype in the muthafucking house on his new album. And I hope its a classic like "WE COME STRAPPED", "DEATH THREATS", "SECTION 8" & "LAST MAN STANDING" bc I still bump them to this day. You can call him a real G because most niggas that wore the gheri curl or Shag paid his dues.
All yeah Eiht new album drops sept 28th thats I wonder who all he disses on here.

Yeah MC Eiht is a tight artist to me but the only thing is Eiht will never be as popular as he once was before. Because many younger cats I know don't feel him no more they said he stuck in the 90's, they also said the same about Spice, and the rest.
The problem is the younger generation don't know how diverse this music shit really is. There isn't a main sound like they think. Muthafuckas just go by the sound on the radio and think thats what rap music is but they fell to realize artist like Eiht and etc is spitting on what is reality in the streets. Life isn't all about clubbin and getting crunk and getting head, and how much jewels you got on your wrist. they fell to realize there is still murder, hustling, Police Brutality and banging in the streets. I got to really agree with Eiht in his interview. I remember when east coast rap was just about metaphors, long words and rhyme schemes now its about gangsta shit. on some real shit Gansta rap and gang banging was a art in the West. Example I'm a Camron fan but the truth is he did bite off the west because I remember he had songs about chasing hoes , Horses and carriages now he has songs like Killa Cam, Bust Ur Guns, and Dead Motherfuckas.

A Major change don't yall agree?

I read something about this shit awhile back, I heard alot of the Bloods and Crips in New York stem from cats from Belize and other central american countries that immigrated to New York.
