I only seen one person mention the luniz albums on this whole thread...to me all three knock ESP. Lunatik Muzik...that along with Yuk's solos and the Thug Lordz record hold its own against Master P's solos and TRU's, but although i think the Thug Lord (yuk's solo) record is just as tight as any of P's, none of his shit has acheived the classic status of a Ghetto Dope or Ghetto's Tryin To Kill Me. I've wished P would hang his mic up since Da Last Don, and no one can stand up for him legitimately and argue he hasn't bit styles more than anyone at his level; but i don't think neone can argue against the fact that he is from the hood, and has got stripes stitched out the same thread as most thugz, though his might be diamond cut. I wonder where the whole bankrupt rumour started. I help run a Hip Hop news site and have never heard nething bout it from a solid source. I heard he lost some of his extended businesses like his sports agency and 900 lines, but bottom line is dude is a part of the foundation of out the trunk and independent hustle, down the list a ways from 40 and Short. So even though i don't like none of this soft shit he been doin either, its always good to see that someone who has taken a fall from grace like he has still stay in it, flossin just the same.
On the other side, Yukmouth is one of the West's fiercest period. Dude smoke more than anyone i've met in my life, and headz the Regime which is the most underrated rap conglomerate in the whole game. I'd be doing the same shit he is until i got my recognition and chips if in the same position. Shit, there's a DJ that's been using my name in my home area that i be trippin off of and he ain't did nothin but spin at raves and get people crossedd thinkin i'm him. so i wouldn't say yuk is hating, man homie just want his due props. And as long as P remains a bigger figure with the shit he's droppin now, no one can argue why Yuk wouldn't be hot.
Bottom line: Yuuk owns P talent wise, but P's should get his respect for what he's achieved.
