Just when you thought Mass Effect couldn't get any gayer..

Mass Effect 3 will allow users to pursue same-sex relationships, regardless of whether they play as a male or female Commander Shephard.

Casey Hudson, Mass Effect 3's Executive Producer, has confirmed on his Twitter account that Mass Effect 3 will allow both gay and lesbian romances to blossom.

Hudson said he was "Happy to confirm [that Mass Effect 3] supports wider options for love interests [including] same-sex for [male and female] characters, reactive to how you interact [with] them in-game."

While a same-sex encounter with Kelly Chambers was open to those who opted to play as a female Shephard in Mass Effect 2, similar options have so far been unavailable to those playing as a male Shephard.

As with all relationships in the Mass Effect franchise, they are likely to be optional, and will need to be actively pursued by the player in order to be experienced.

Mass Effect 3 is scheduled for release in early 2012.

I always thought this shit was gay now its been confirmed..lol

Can't wait to use my fem-Shep to make sex with Ashley!

I really wanted fem-Shep to get it on with Miranda in ME2, but that wasn't an option.

^^^WHAT???

Was the ME3 demo put up accidentally??????
Basing how much was wrong with it, and how long it was up I think it was an accident.

There was a cutscene that looked like it was straight from N64.

Some of the sound effects werent there, and people were disappearing and stuck in windows and shit. It was weird.

Couple good things, though. It looks like you can move around a little faster. The melee can actually be used to kill shit now. Couple returning characters, one that I'm especially happy about.

Theres three different play modes.

RPG - You make choices, and have normal difficulty in combat
Action - Combats a little harder, but the story plays out for you (you dont make any decisions)
Story - Combats easier, and you make all decisions.

You can customize it so you only make Major Decisions and shit like that. They're trying to make it as appealing as possible to everyone.

Hows that dumbing it down? You don't have to play multiplayer.. You don't have to play on the easy game mode.. You can if you wan't too but the option to go on super hard and skip multiplayer (which i didn't even know they were doing) all together.. If anything they are adding more options and bulking the game up.

I would be lying if I said i wasn't nervous about ME3. The changes from ME 1 to ME 2 were okay, but I hope they dont strip away any more rpg elements. Plus, after seeing what bioware did with dragon age 2, i am hoping that does not happen with mass effect

They are dumbing thise game down. First mp and now these shitty ass playmodes?
The game modes? You talking about RPG, Action, etc?

Doesn't dumb it down. Changes it to how you want to play. RPG Mode = How mass effect is SUPPOSED to be played. And the multiplayer is on the side. So that's not dumbing it down.

Did you read what the fuck was posted?

RPG - You make choices, and have normal difficulty in combat
Action - Combats a little harder, but the story plays out for you (you dont make any decisions)
Story - Combats easier, and you make all decisions.

How is that NOT dumbing it down?

See above.

So I guess you yourself haven't read what you typed?

I also said you can customize it, meaning there's still other difficulties.
They didn't dumb it down. THey made it more appealing to more people.

You can still play RPG Mode which is what Mass Effect has always been.
They're pretty much just standard sets of options, but as I said, you can customize them.

Here is wht you said:

See, I don't see anything else about customization.

You can still play RPG Mode which is what Mass Effect has always been.
But is the combat still the same? According to your post combat difficulty is "normal" in the RPG mode. I don't want normal, I want hard/insane combat.

They're pretty much just standard sets of options, but as I said, you can customize them.
Heres the question, and I've asked and the people on the bioware forum are asking also, is the RPG mode like ME and ME2 and can you select the difficulty?
