and even though marquez/diaz was a good fight it was nothing like the first fight mainly because diaz tried to be a boxer.
lol.. i've seen comments similar to this in regards to other fights, in the past.. while i understand why it can be viewed as a negative, i still find it interesting.. i think de la hoya vs trinidad was the 1st time it resonated with me.

anyway, OT--- i'm an mma fan who's attempting to discover & appreciate the world of boxing.. i've followed the pacman pbf debate with great interest (&, based soley on logic, i feel floyd is a pussy).

......................................................................................................

lol why did i write ^^that shit^^ so formally? i was hella drunk @ the time, passed out n just woke up hahah

anyway, i watched the corrales clottey fight after seeing it mentioned & loved that particular fight, but the bits & pieces i saw during last nights event bored me. any recommendations?

I want to see Marquez-Pacquiao III. More than Pacquiao-Margarito.

Marquez was impressive last night. I just don't think he should move any higher than 135, and I doubt Pacquiao will drop down that low again. I think Manny would stop Marquez in the 3rd fight, personally.

i think he could easily fight at 140 if he wanted to. Honestly i cant see Marquez being stopped and he has that style that Manny has a real difficult time with but i think some of yall arent prepared for the war Manny is gonna have with Margarito, i really cant even see Manny knocking down Margarito.

I think Pac would stop him at this stage and at 140 or above. I just don't see pac going back down to 140 but who knows. If all the stars align and Marquez beats Khan and Pacquiao beats Margarito & floyd still is on vacation, then it's possible.

Damn now 206 gets to rub that good Cotto, Gomez prediction in my face. I guess it's time to talk Raider and Bear football.

Jacobs got rocked that was a good fight. Marquez handled his business, I wish he would've put the Baby Bull to sleep again. I still hate Casa. Friday Nights Fights was off the hook. ESPN have stepped there fight game up this year. Some very good match making. I'm ready for the HBO fight card this weekend.

I want to see what Tavoris Cloud does in this fight. Is he really ready for Bad Chad Dawson?? This fight will answer a lot of questions and make a case for him to get a big fight. The August 14 HBO card Dawson vs. Pascal should be good too and boxing is supposed to be dead.. LOL..

You want past fights to recommend and if so, what are you looking to see (all out wars, beat downs, etc.) or upcoming fights to look out for?
looking for all out wars, beat downs, etc.. some of clottey's better fights would be appreciated too. i like his defensive tactics, wish he could find a way to increase his offensive output...

pretty much, i just wanna get caught up on the biggest fights in the past 5 (to 10) years, & know what to look forward to in the future.

it really was the pacman/pussy boy floyd debate that got me interested, along with fight night round 3 & 4. also, any recommendations as far as james toney & hopkins fights are welcome.

Clottey vs Margarito was an interesting fight and relevant since margarito is about to fight Pac.

Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo (the first fight) is, imo, the greatest fight of all time. If you haven't already seen it, watch it, even though it's not relevant to today it's always fun watching (Corrales is dead and Castillo is retired).

As far as Bernard Hopkins, watch his fight against the then undefeated Felix Trinidad. IMO one of the greatest displays of the sweet science in the past 25 years.

For more recent fights:
Cotto vs Margarito (2 years ago). Still one of my favorites.
Juan Manuel Lopez v. Rogers Mtagwa
Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Rogers Mtagwa
^^^^(Gamboa and Lopez are to be future stars so pay attention to them)^^^
Paul Williams v. Sergio Martinez (hopefully they rematch soon)
Andre Berto vs Luis Collazo
Marcos Maidana vs Victor Ortiz (awesome back and forth fight)
Bernard Hopkins vs Kelly Pavlik (great performance by 43 year old bernard)
Sergio Martinez vs Kelly Pavlik
Timothy Bradley vs Kendall Holt
Kelly Pavlik vs Jermain Taylor
Carl Froch vs Jermain Taylor
Andre Dirrell vs Arthur Abraham

let me know if you need help finding any of those
