to be honest rick, im split 50-50 on the whole giants/manny thing. i know what he brings on the field, but we are a young team and i dont want our future corrupted behind trying to win right this very minute. manny off the field in the locker room and what not is not worth a glass of piss. but what he does in the batters box is worth every penny he gets.

Giants fans would be fools to not want manny...he is the best right handed hitter of this era and perhaps of all time....him at 36 is better than fred lewis,aaron rowand,randy winn,nate schierholtz or anyone else they decide to throw out there...

yeah he's better, but lewis, schierholtz, bowker, etc are all developing still.. so you cant compare, and all these players probably play better defense than manny, no one plays right field better than randy winn does at att park. I'm not saying i wouldnt want manny on the giants or anything like that, just putting it out there.

if you wouldve kept up with the giants last season, youd know we lost alot of 1-2 games. I dont consider last season a total loss, we kinda got to see whos worthy of perfoming at the major league level.

I'm no fair weather fan, they disappointed me so much last season that I said to myself that I won't keep up with them until they pick some better players and start winning more games. Take me back to 2003-2004 and trust me, I was a happy SF Giants fan, I'm hoping this season the Giants get their shit together and make it back to the top ...

Oh yeah, and Zito was a waste of money and a failure to the team, a big hype to that led to nothing and another thing...

and DUTCH, I would rather become a Washington Nationals fan before having the thought of becoming a L.A. Dodger Fan...FUUUUUCK YOU!!!!
