Valero has a punchers chance thats about it. If Pac boxed Valero would never even get off.

But ya, it's Soto anyways. I like it better. Much better fight to me. Pac fighting Valero would be a little risky with a small reward. Soto is less risky with a much bigger reward. Technically a better fight. Pac by dec.

which do you think would be a bigger event? I kinda thought Valero would since he's received world wide attention, a lot of casual fans have read about him, plus people love seeing guys with great KO percentages. Shit, I remember reading an article someone on mainstream media talkin about Valero is like a smaller version of Mike Tyson!

^^this was a good fight to see pacman for the first time. He's more of a boxer now then he was earlier in his career when he was just explosive and kinda crazy. he's really improved over the years.

marquez shoulda won.. so really it should be another loss on his record.. but i aint trippin.. pacman is coo.
I had pacman winning by one point. 6 rounds a piece but pacman gets the extra point for knocking down marquez of course. both fights were close, despite pacman knocking him down 4 times total.

Soto will probably end up being a better fight...but I think he lacks the speed to keep up with Manny. He had a hard time getting in position and sitting on his punches in the Guzman fight, and I think if Manny can keep his in & out, and lateral movement up. He shouldn't have a problem getting a decision, if not a late round TKO.

I've seen Valero fight. You can tell hes not a crafty boxer, just has kinda long arms and keeps trying to knock his opponents head off. I think if he fought a better opponent they would be able to take his shots better, and he wouldnt land as much.

I think the Soto fight would be a bigger event. PPV buys come from both sides, Soto will draw a ton of mexican fans.

That's not really fair though because NO one can keep up with Guzman's speed

He's the best, that's why he's not even on Manny's radar even if he does beat Nate Campbell.
No doubt...I really like Guzman. He's fast as fuck..

Although he does get hit a lot...and didn't even really have pop @ 130...so IMO he'll have a pretty tough time keeping the bigger guys at 135 at bay.

Besides Barrios & Soto though...he hasn't really been in there with the elite level of competition yet...and he's 32 & not getting any younger. So its good that he's getting his opportunities now.

He does get hit, but he has a great chin. I've never ever seen him wobbled, stunned or in the least bit of trouble. He doesn't really have KO power, but he bang with 'em, against Barrios he hurt him on several occasions. I think he'll be fine at 135, I mean against Soto he came in the ring weighing almost 150 pounds. 130 to 135 is really nothin imo

yeah that's the thing. Campbell is a great test to see where he's really at. I'm hella biased cuz Guzman is one of my favorite fighters, so we'll see!
