Pacquiao vs. Rios odds: 'Pac Man' opens as 3-to-1 favorite
This could be the biggest fight of Manny Pacquiao's career. A win puts him right back in the pound-for-pound discussion while a loss would likely send him tumbling down the rankings, perhaps for good.
Longtime boxing superstar and former pound-for-pound great Manny Pacquiao will return to the squared circle later this year when he takes on Brandon Rios in a 12-round welterweight showdown at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel in Macao, China, on Nov. 23, 2013.
And he'll do it at -400, according to Bovada.lv.
Pacquiao (54-5-2) opened as a 3-to-1 favorite over Rios (+300) despite the Filipino's recent struggles. After suffering a controversial split decision loss to Timothy Bradley last June in Las Vegas, Nevada, "Pac Man" was knocked out cold by Juan Manuel Marquez in December.
Rios (31-1-1), recently suffered the first defeat of his career by way of unanimous decision in a rematch against Mike Alvarado last March at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in "Sin City." The 27 year-old "Bam Bam" has 23 wins by way of knockout, but has not yet faced the quality of opposition that Pacquiao has.
