IDK IF THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POND CATFISH...
AND THE CATFISH I USED TO CATCH IN THEM MAN-MADE RIVER THINGS BESIDE THE HIGHWAY,
CUZ I COUGHT A FAT ASS FISH WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, IT NEVER GOT WEIGHED BUT IT FED A FAMILY OF 9, AND THIS WAS A FAMILY THAT COULD EAT! AND IT WAS ABOUT AS LONG AS MY ARMSPAN, BACK WHEN I WAS LIKE 11 YEARS OLD, SHIT WAS HUGE AS I REMEMBER

ive seen massive flatheads and massive channel cats.
i grew up on lake lawtonka in oklahoma....to put some rumors to bed, one time they sent a news crew to dive down near the dam where the water is the deepest to see just how big the catfish were and the camera guy ended up dropping the camera in his hasty return to the surface and vowed never to go down there again.
