Yes, that mixtape is quite good. But that's because of DJ Squeeky's production. And DJ Squeeky has been in the game for 2 decades, while nobody aside from Drumma Boy has come with tight beats out of Memphis in the last decade. And Drumma Boy has been huge, but he mostly works with artists outside of Memphis right now, and he alone isn't enough. Lyrics-wise, it has been even more stagnated.
Black rain you should try and get Lord to post up on here seriously that would make the siccness all that much sicker and the fans would love to interact with him too.
That new Lil Kuku album "Still kuku 4 dem dollars" was tight; i honestly don't even pay attention to memphis rap anymore, but that album was really dope.
