On Jts behalf, he has made a key business move, because the fact is Latino music has been prospering for the last 6 years. Im sure hes gonna sign Banda, Corrido, Latino rappers, and yes even reggaeton rappers. What you hear on the radio is like a 5th of the gangsta shit they cant put on the radio. All you biased children that can't understand what they are saying if you reallyknew, you'd not judge their content by the beat but by their lyrics. Im not gonna try n convince you all that oppose and dislike a certain sound of music, Im here to give JT his props on expanding his horizons to a market thats gonna make him a more rich individual.

How does having musical preferences & taste make me "extremely ignorant"? As far as being close-minded, I'm about as musically opposite of that as you can get. You can't go as far as I have being any other way! Latino rap doesn't appeal to me. The only thing that makes me is not a fan of it. I've heard a few good songs but nothing that inspires me to put money on it. Whether or not you feel the same, it ain't that serious.

As far as whats a good investment and whats not when it comes to music, because of my position I have a different perspective on that so I expect view it differently than most.

Remember the "latin explosion"? One day it was hotter than ever and the next it was already a distant memory. Came and went almost overnight. A few people will probably make a lot of money off reggaeton but I don't see it as having any real staying power in the american market. If JT can become one of those few people, my hats off to him man!

I guess I took your post as english language rap done by latinos. The term "latino rap" is unique compared to "white rap" or "black rap" because of the language factor. I can see how spanish terms or style (beat-wise) in a rap song can be unappealing to folks who aren't latinos themselves or open to the sound.

thats true but look at all these people investing in "regular" rap.the only explosion in that is the amoint of rappers.i mean you say your a big producer, you seem to be makin money,i dont know.no one knows who you are,you can be joe blow from the liquor sto still livin at your mommas house.just with big talk.not sayin thats true but not sayin its not.i dont really care, but im sayin everybody that raps or produces is "respected and makin money",truth is most of'em aint.so with the intelegence you seem to carry on here why would you knock that oppose to the explosion of "regular" rappers now adays? aint no one (besides mainstream artists) sellin the kind of units they used to.everybody thinks there shits colder then the next mans.as far as latin rap,its a smaller world but more concentrated............

You got that right!

everybody that raps or produces is "respected and makin money",truth is most of'em aint.
Right again.

why would you knock that oppose to the explosion of "regular" rappers now adays?
I'm not knockin' it. I said some people will make a lot of money off it and if JT is one of em', great. But to put it simply, it has a short shelf life in the american market.

aint no one (besides mainstream artists) sellin the kind of units they used to.
You have your Usher, Alicia Keys, Eminem, 50 Cent, etc who do well but across the board, most mainstream artists arn't selling like they used to anymore either.
