I like the game, its the same progression as the last few years, little improvements no drastic changes and when there putting up crazy annual sales every year, you cant blame them to not revamp the whole system. I like the locomotion feature, its really way to early to tell a lot about this game, all these reviews come out before the retail release date, ask me again in a month. Online team play is a cool new feature, slightly faster games, sideline catches are much better than in madden 10. I really like the game so far but I really wasnt expecting much so take it for what its worth. When football season starts Ill have way more interest in the game. Just rent it if you arent sure

got this shit yesterday played for about an hour. Two games.

First game I played on the default settings which I guess is PRO. Chicago vs Seattle. I won 28-0, very easy. Next game I played Chicago vs Seattle on All Pro and I won 14-7. More challenging but probably more of me just fuckin up as it's been a long time since I played madden. It was raining heavy which made the game kinda sloppy.

After one hour my verdict is the game is OK but I need more time.

One REALLY annoying thing is the D-pad for quick adjustments on defense and offense. They really fucked this up. Before, let's say you want your defensive line to attack inside because you're expecting an inside run, all you had to do was push down. Now you have to press fucking d-pad up, then I think left to choose d-line, then down so that the line will attack inside. By the time you do all that the offense already hiked the damn ball!

Same shit on offense if you want to change a WR's route it's basically 2 more steps/presses than previously, so it takes too much time.

I don't know if there is a way to disable that or what, haven't played around with the settings but that shit is annoying. Clearly they were trying to make things less confusing for the newbie but in reality made shit more complicated.

As far as the animations everything looked/felt the same. Game speed still isn't quite right. I chose to have the game in "normal speed" and not "slow" which was the game default. Not sure if that helped or not. Playbook was pretty much the same for da bears. Computer AI also seemed for the most part the same as they fell for the same tricks and shit as the past several Maddens.

Will try franchise mode tonight.

Understatement.......

I got destroyed by the Steelers D on All Madden....then again I was playing with the Bucs...
Just played this at my homies house. Played the Steelers on all madden with the 49ers and killed them 21 - 0. Patrick Willis pick 6. Tedd Ginn kick return TD and a Crabtree slant for a TD. Seems like real life.

I think this game is deep. The D pad is confusing. I'm ready 206, so accept my request.

Anybody wanna go head up?
