Yep, I sure am. Well when my running back fumbled, it was from a hit stick hit.

But when my receiver fumbled, I covered the ball. I was leading in the 4th quarter, about to kill the clock and this mf fumbles. All I needed was one more first down and I had gotten it too but this mf fumbled. And it was Jennings from the Packers, not no scrub wr with a low carry rating.

If controller's didn't cost so much, I would've thrown it at the wall I was so pissed off. Now my record is below .500.

For some strange reason, weird things happen when I am playing against the Cowboys. In the same game, I had Charles Woodson playing the flats, the dude I am playing against ran a quick out with Austin right into the flats where Woodson was and Woodson just stood there and let the ball go right over his head instead of jumping up and snatching it out of the air like every other time I've been picked off.

hit stick can pop it out regardless if you cover it up, try right stick in the direction of where the defender will hit you (while holding cover) for your RB.

That sprint button still isn't working for me. Plenty of times where I broke free of defenders and got at least 10 yards ahead and got caught right away. I'm not feelin' that at all. But oh well. Might have to pop Madden 10 back in.

I even experimented with the attributes. I put my RB's speed at 99 and his acceleration at 99, pretty much put his OVR at 99 and still can't get any speed when he's in the open field by him self.

I think your xbox has aids bro.

Try going into 'settings/game options/speed threshold' and set it to 0. This creates the biggest speed difference between fast and slow players so you will notice it more.

Yeah man, I was playing the 9ers and Frank Gore was like 5 yards behind the scrimmage line with defenders all around him and broke away from all of those defenders and took off. I know Frank Gore is a beast, but that was some bullshit. I think it's time for me to get LIVE and get this shit fixed.

This is kind of a silly question, but does anyone know or can recommend an offensive playbook that most resembles a Mike Martz style offense?

The reason is I like to play with da bears and their playbook is basically the same as last years madden, which is pretty vanilla.

Any suggestions?

you have to go through them all in practise mode man, thats your best bet.

Broncos got some nice 5 wide sets, Arizona got some nice routes and Patriots is good as well if you are looking for more of a passing playbook.

ive been using the same play book since 03 (chiefs)....they barley have anything to do with the real playbook the team runs which is bullshit

Ha! This benifited me earlier 2nyte. I pitched it to Justin Forsett about 20 yards away from the end zone, got by at least 3 defenders, trucked one of them and stiff arm'd the other and got to the end zone with ease. I know something's not right with this game if that shit happens with Justin Forsett lol

yeah I know. But still some offenses in Madden have a wider variety of plays than others. For example I played with seattle the other day and noticed a few wild cat plays. Chicago has no wild cat plays in madden, but in real life, they've used the wild cat in each of their games so far (although not successfully).

The "quick pass" selection in chicago's playbook in madden is pretty limited and they don't have too many passes designed for the running back. Mike Martz does, so I'm just looking for a playbook that has more plays like this and whatnot.

I guess I'll just need to mess around in practice mode until I find something.

I just had a hell of a game against Mobb415. Opened the game with a 98 yard return, but lost it with :23 seconds to go with a stupid int that he returned to win the game.

I like Seattle's playbook. Although they took a few plays out from last years Madden that I really liked. I was pissed.

the fuck is up with motherfuckers dropping so many INT's and the stupid ass RB or TE when you throw the ball to the sideline and these idiots continue running towards out of bounds and get a whopping 2 yards when they could have gotten at least 10 more yards

I'd say St. Louis playbook and New England/Denver Books(same thing).....these playbooks are spread offenses mostly shotgun sets. Although EA fucked up the playbooks hella dumbed them down. The NCAA 11' books i hear are much better
