Forget Madden,
Sega's, "ESPN NFL Football" (NFL2K4) will tear Madden to shreads again.
I highly suggest renting this game just to try it out before you waste your money on Madden.
Don't get me wrong, Madden is a good game. But it's just that Sega's NFL2K series is a whole lot better.
Give it a chance....

you trippin on the 2k4 thing...i used to be a 2k sereis fan on dreamcast (still am for hoop) but madden blows the new 2k series away...my brother let me borrow 2k3 and it doesn't even compare to madden 03....way too arcadish....i'm swoopin madden fa sho the day it comes out...and i'll be smashin on foos online the same day
No! Madden is way too slow. The real game of football moves in a much faster pace, like it does in Sega's games.
Not to mention Maddens controls, they feel like you're driving a truck instead of controlling a pro football player.
It doesn't even compare to 2K's spot on and tight player controls.
The new 2k has a new first person option that lets you play as if you're in the field. It really makes you feel as if you're in the game and it's actually very fun to play.
Watch EA copy this shit and put it in Madden 2005, seriously....

ok so in real life if your running full speed, can you cut and turn 90 degrees on a dime? thats impossible...your momentum is going one way, and your trying to cut another, it jus dont work like that...in madden you actually have to slow down to make the cut...2k you can turn on a dime which is unrealistic...and the real game of football does not move as fast paced as 2k series...there are too many big motherfuckers out there for it to move that fast, 2k series speed is comparable to that of blitz, madden is way more accurate when it comes to game speed...
and there is no bias in my opinion because i used to stand by 2k1 on dreamcast compared to madden 01 on ps2, but since madden 2002, sega sports/visual concepts aint on the same level as ea in football...

hell yeah,i have used that same argument hella times,i hate that shit,the way the cut is horrible.not to mention how the ball stays in the air forever,you try to hit a guy doin a quick slant and the ball stay up in the air like you are throwing a long bomb.2k is more of a pick up and play arcade type game,i think most real football fans play madden though
