Does it have old school franchise or season mode?
Still the weird 'connected franchise' shit but if you go coach mode it is pretty much same as franchise mode.

At first I wasnt very impressed but now Im starting to like it more. Everything is way more fluent than 25 and timing is much more intuitive. You really get rewarded on the defensive side when you time things perfect like hits, snapcount etc.

How is that defensive view? Something like you lock onto a player and the camera changes to his angle...

Is anyone still playing this and is it worth picking up? I might cop it on black Friday. I actually tried to buy it today but they were sold out because Walmart had it for $30

I think its dope..I have it for xbox one...Playing franchise mode with a couple of buddies is fun...The gameplay is smooth and more realistic....No more cutting on a dime at full speed and reversing field ... cop it..Ive seen it around for real cheap as of late even before black friday it was on sale at costco for the low...

I ended up copping it for $30 but haven't had the chance to play it yet. I actually ended up getting a MAJOR hookup at Walmart. All of the games in the ad got marked down to what they had the DVD's and Blu Rays listed for. So I got like 12 games for $1.96 to $3.96 each.

How is it though? Effective? Cool?
This is the first Madden I've bought since 13, and before that I skipped the other two after 10. I've played them all at some point or another, but didn't bother to buy them because they were trash. I just started playing this the other day, I think it's incredible so far as far as gameplay. I love the defensive view or whatever it's called and once you get the hang of switching to the player closest to the ball once it's in the air, it's one of the best football experiences I've ever had on a video game.

Everything else is getting closer to being realistic without taking all of the fun out of the game. I get the feeling that the game probably sucks somehow in someway somewhere down the line because it's EA and MAdden and they seem to find a way to do that, but so far so good. The ultimate team mode is more fun than I thought it would be too.
