Yeah, I don't see this trade making the Warriors much better.. But, I'm for it.. The Pacers would get worse from the deal. Hopefully they send Dunleavy, Tayshaun eats him alive everytime they play the Pistons.

But, I don't get the talk to Denver.. Why would they want a SF to help out Carmelo. Carmelo isn't athletic enough to play SG, and artest can't play SG or PF... so I don't get what they are doing.. Why do they even want Artest, yeah, he's a talent.. He's better than Carmelo, but how would Carmelo and Artest share shots, and PT, that deal doesn't make any sense to me.

^^^Defense de de Defense say again Defense Melo would move to the SG position I'm telling you ESPN top insiders been saying he's going to Denver they been pushing the hardest to get him and they say Golden State doesnt have any thing on the roster Golden state is willing to give up i.e. Baron Davis.. I would like to see him traded somewhere so we can squash all these rumors and so we can start the the smack talking on who was right and who was wrong..

i do believe the W's have the MOST talent to give him !!!
Murphy, Dun, Petirus, Bedrins, Zarko, Foyle, 3 out of those 5 are starters.........
Indiana has no choice BUT to lower their standards cuz Artest asked for the trade.......
hopefully Mully's ties with Donnie Walsh, and his ties to Ron Artest via St. John's can come through.......
we need good ol' Ron Ron for Shaq and Kobe this week !!!!!

yeah Diogu is a monster, and has a HUGE upside !! i do not wanna part with Ike, BUT it's either which way you are looking at the team. just this year, the warriors are not looking towards the future as much as a few years ago.......it's crunch time NOW !!! if Ron Ron WANTS to play here, giving up Diogu and Dun and throw in Zarko, or Cal, i could live with that !! it would be nice to keep Ike, but you gotta give up something good, to get something good !!! Shaq and DWade 2morrow, yeeeeeee........Patron will be flowing

PG- Baron
SG- Jrich
SF- Artest
PF- TMurph
C- Foyle

Bench- DFish, Petirus, Bedrins, Taft, Ellis......and whoever we pick up for 10 day contracts

that could be interesting !!!

I say the Warriors can find a similar player with less headaches elsewhere if they really think they need to add to the team. The Warriors are finally makin' their way up the ladder after so many years I'd hate to see them rock the boat with Artest.

i'd trade TMurph before Ike as well, but i don't think the Pacers want Murph as much as Ike !!!
the one warrior i see with a HUGE upside is Monta Ellis. it's hard for him to get minutes in back of Bd, Jrich, Dfish and Peitris when he comes back. but you can tell her poised for a kid out of high school.........

there is no player like Ron Artest in the league.........if they have the opportunity to get him, without giving up one of their superstars, i think it's worth the risk...........sure Diogu "could" be a star in 3 or 4 years, but then Jrich is 28, and BD is 29, and there's a chance one of them might be gone by then via a trade or something........gotta do something now !!!!! 17-17 is not cuttin it !!!!

playoffs: 12 years and counting. . . . . .
Yessir, I was just about to come and rain on the Warriors parade. Damn petrie is fuckin' HOLY! Peja Vaginavoch for Artest. I know everyones gonna be saying that Artest will go off get crazy whatever again. But think about it, Sacramento is known to change BAD players. Take Bonzi for example. Jimmy jackson, Chris Webber, etc. This was a great trade for Sac. In petrie I trust baby!
