been doin a little more research and now im kinda split between the HG20 and the HV30

biggest difference is mainly HDD vs MiniDV

seems like most people that are really into video production think minidv is absolutely the way to go...everyone else says HDD

seems like theres a lot of risk with getting the HDD, too many things can go wrong or keep u from using the camera (weather, altitude, etc.)...but, its extremely easy to get the footage on to your computer and watch what you want easily on the actual camera


blah....definitely split right now...kind of leaning towards the hv30

but also thinking ill just get whatever i can find a good deal on (a legit one haha)

How you like the camera? You upgrade it yet? Been thinkin about gettin the HF s100 w/ wide angle lense but i heard its a bitch to edit if you dont have a powerful computer. I might just grab an HV 30/40 and go all out with upgrades.
