Eazy won hands down!!!! U know why? Because there would be no Dre with out Eazy E. Eazy is the GODFATHER of this shit!!! And it gets deeper....if it wasnt no Eazy E, we'd have no Dr. Dre,no Snoop,no Eminem,no 50 Cent(at least at the success he has achieved), maybe even no Death Row, no Bone Thugs, no Icecube, no Friday,no Next Friday,no friday after next, no Katt Williams and so on. So all these people are like decendants of Eazy E cuz he birthed Dre. Chuuuch.
lol, i think you put too much thought into that.

i look at it like this.

dre said more clever shit
eazy said realer shit..... but that last eazy e record (str8 off the streetz...) was just BEYOND WACK. especially coming after the classic It's On... ep.

eazy fell off..... DRE won.
Well lets be fair here, Eazy had already passed when "Str8 Off The Streets" was released. It was originally intended to be a double album (no one was doing double albums at that time). Admittedly I was disappointed in the majority of that album but there was a handful of bangers on there. And even if Dre sold more albums, that just meant Eazy got paid more....Regardless of who you thought won, it was a lot of fun to watch the war from the sidelines. I used to buy EVERY Ruthless release just hoping for a VERSE from Eazy.... Kids these days might get 4 mixtapes, an album AND a group album from their favorite rapper in a year. I remember when "Its On" came out, followed by Eazy-E song on "Beverly Hills Cop 3" soundtrack and THEN 3 features from Eazy on Bone Thugs debut, Menajathwa and the horrendous Blood Of Abraham album....All in all you are talking maybe 12 songs with Eazy-E on them from fall 93 to the end of 94....That was like Christmas for me all year.....These days game drops 4 mixtapes with 20 songs each in that time.....(sigh) Not to mention I actually paid for all my music. All the Death Row shit from that time was classic too....I just wish that someone would find some more unreleased Ruthless/Death Row shit from that era so fans like me could take a whole new trip down memory lane.

Lol. Good point. After all, it was their lyrics. I think it was more Ren and the D.O.C though. I doubt Cube writes all of his shit.
Come on now Cube was that nigga writing half of they shit, He wrote Boyz n the hood and if u lsten 2 8 ball . Eazy states Ice cube writes the rhymes that i say. u notice his shit got less boyz n the hoodish once cube left. U dont think cube writes his own rhymes- yeah right. thatz Dre's fruity ass. That nigga makes beatz and gets somebody else 2 write his spit. thatz like me coming out wit an album getting credit making beats when i know i didnt make em

Eazy's best verses IMO were on NIGGAZ4LIFE and 100 Miles and Running....Just my opinion....DOC wrote most of those verses....I'm not taking anything away from Cube....Lethal Injection and Amerikkkas Most Wanted are two of my all-time favorites....

I look at it this way...................

Eazy-E won because Dre & Death Row had to pay Eazy & Ruthless almost 10 million to Eazy & Ruthless between the years of 1992 - 1995 to fufill Dre's contract.

Now that is winning......if you make your enemy pay you.

Sales wise, Dre won because he had Interscope backing him and paying MTV to play the videos.

Eazy also had the overall win because the insults were harsher than Dre's and Eazy shining the light about the fact of Dre's homosexuality.

dre day video >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> dre looking like a fag in the early 1980s when everyone dressed like a fag because it was apparently the fashion

remember when eazy e skiddedled around the corner in the video on some looney tunes shit lmao

i dunno how it looked to ANYONE OUTSIDE THE WEST but eazy had been irrelevent by the ttime snoop made his way into the game via the chronic

plus he died of AIDS
you really cant call someone a fag then perish of a disease that has been synonymous of homosexuality since its creation

and thats no disrespect to eazy e or his family

but in the 'beef world' (a worl that only matters to silly fans) dre dre won that

stupid breezy....dre is tha nigga that put eazy up to start rappin. eazy was just a head hancho of the label at first. so all niggas sayin there would be no dre witout tha E, its true...but there would be no E witout dre.
