As part of the deposition for the upcoming trial between the city of Seattle and the Sonics' ownership group over the team's KeyArena lease, it has come to light that Sonics owner Clay Bennett has little sympathy for the players who do not want to leave Seattle.

In an e-mail to Oklahoma-based public relations consultant Brent Gooden after hearing some of the Sonics players were upset about the prospect of moving the franchise to Oklahoma City, Bennett responded by writing, "Boo hoo," according to a line of questioning by city of Seattle attorney Jeff Johnson.

To which Gooden replied, "Great response. I would play wherever for half of the lowest paid player on the team.

Im not a Sonics fan, but fuck that piece of shit. I hope Seattle brings up lawsuit after lawsuit on this fuckhead until he bleeds money to the point where he is forced to sell the team back to somebody who will keep the team there.

I'd pay money to have that man killed.
God isn't that the truth right there, he's #3 on my list behind #1 Schultz and #2 Stern (I'll put Bin Laden at #4).

I've actually made some statements on various fantasy message boards exactly of that nature, so much so that if somebody actually went crazy and did that, I'd be like "oh shit i have to go delete some stuff."

Man I feel you infinity% on this. When/if I'm ever living in Seattle again I am going to harass anybody who looks like a sports fan I see walking into a Starbucks, and down here in TX I just recently gave up Sonic Drive-In (my favorite fast food joint here, it really is good) b/c I found out that Cocksucker Clay has a major stake in it (and he's even planning to potentially rename their piece of shit arena "Sonic Arena" with the corporate sponsorship, that's some real shithead irony right there).

That's the strategy man, slug it out and slug it out and slug it out until they're forced to stay for 2 more whole years, and then I don't think they could stand 2 more whole years of all this chaos and publicity, I think they'd figure out a way for them to stay, maybe w/ Steve Ballmer in the mix (and perhaps satisfy Cocksucker Clay w/ an expansion aka Kevin Durant-less team).

Thank you, we appreciate your support coming from a division rival and regional neighbor.

If Portland ever commits to a new stadium, I would pull for them in landing an MLB team. If The Rays fail to get one done in Tampa-St. Pete, you guys will be at the top of the list as potential relocations, probably fighting Charlotte NC.

^ Not all relocations are unjust, but the Seattle one is 2nd to only the Cleveland Browns in the straight downright offensive category.

we have a better chance of gettin an MLS team before a MLB team... lucky for me, i like both sports...

Portland is trying to get an MLS team by 2010-2011. Seattle is gettin one next year in 09, and portland is a GREAT soccer town....

^^FUCK MLB. I want NFL in Portland!!! I remember there were talks of moving the Raiders to Portland about 8 years ago. That would have been perfect.
thing is, I already have teams I root for in all the major sports except club soccer( i mean I have a few teams I like, but not like a die hard thing I have with the cubs, blazers, and niners)

even if portland got a MLB team or a NFL team, they would never be MY team, Im already a niners/cubs fan for life...

it was in some street interview I think.. During the time they was havin the vote on team relocation... The ppl interviewin durant said something along the lines of "are u hear for the vote?" he said no it was for some other reason and he's not payin attention to it, then the interviewers said the owners voted yes on the relocation, then durant replied "that fat mufucka"

Honestly tho, if the move proves to be inevitable, how would yall feel if durant demanded a trade to Portland, then got traded away from clay for peanuts and role players?? Would yall be able to still follow him since he's in the nw still, and only a couple hours away for home games?? Or would yall just be too bitter to give a fuck??
