thats all 50 can do.....hes made his name on some hardcore beef shit (fuckin stupid)...aint no one losing there lives over this corny beef shit...atleast 50 vs JA actually had some "street" shit to do with it....to do this day i still say ja is a wayyyyyy better rapper then 50....

There is no money involved Brugh. I'm reffering to album sales. The other Homie was reffering to hyping up each other in mixtapes / fake beefs to increase album sales (That's understood and makes sence), but what I'm sayin' is nobody is buying music no more (due to downloading). So nobody wins IMO.

The last good so called beef to increase album sales was 50 vs Kanye. It's been pretty quiet these days.

Nobody is downloading music anymore? LMAO!!!! Maybe nobody wants to admit to it, but yes Brugh people download everyday. The so called, "I'll buy it later if I like it.", or "I just wanted to listen to it first." line is most infamous in people who download.

And yes, Kanye beat 50. I don't believe anybody could argue that point.

Mixtape was trash it was just some local cats rapping on it with joe just talking shit between the tracks. There wasnt even one good song on it. All he mostly said is taht 50 is a snitch. Its been 6 years since 50 popped off and no snitch proof yet.


Joe lost this battle for sure.

the albums THAT are being bought are hyped up with clever shit like this....all albums sells have dropped (being mainstream, underground) but there is still money to be made in the rap game these days....you just got to know what your doing and how to act a certain way.....talent is like 50 percent of it if that...all these mainstream rap beefs are gimics...

I think your right to an extent, but I also tend to think that there are still a few people in the world that prefer to purchase albums rather than download / steal them. It could also be people that prefer to have the cover with all the info (I call it bathroom reader), rather than having a burned copy on a cd-r. Hence: The albums that are sold.

As far as gimmicks though, I believe "The Beef" / "mixtape" gimmick is played out. A lot of people (including myself) listen for simply entertainment purposes. I, amongst a lot of people don't want to see another Biggie and Pac beef go too far. Cause at the end of it all, it's not that serious (as in having to kill each other over it).
