i couldn't get on the damn site:devious:
and woodie, i don't know if the bandwidth of the station, as long as it is fm, dictates how far the signal will travel. it is still in the fm range. i work with fm range radios at work. if you change the channel from channel 16, which is the national channel for marine distress, to say, channel 83....you don't get any further of a propagation path (distance that the signal travels), that's why they have it on 16, cause it doesn't matter all that much. channel 16 is 156.8Mhz, 89. whatever kpoo is, is 89 Mhz. it matters on location and what you have in the way of the transmission site of the radio station and the antenna at your house, or on the internet, i think it is just because they have shitty transmission onto the net, wouldn't be suprised if it isn't even cable, and it is just a phone line, that will sound shitty.
i know this was alot of rambling on, but everyone can learn something i guess, even if it isn't important, lol.
you can hear kmel in watsonville sometimes, but you can't hear it in petaluma, it is a lil over 90 miles to watson, and only like 50 to petaluma, it's because the transmission is blocked by the hills more than likely going north.
