yeah this broke ass dude i was riding with had a tape deck, so i grabbed my ipod that cost more than his truck and went up and got a tape deck to hook up to it so we didnt have to use the radio.
Whatchu know about recording songs off the radio with a cassette cuz u were too broke to buy the album or single. This was years before downloads existed.

lol i know all about that, you would FF just a lil bit to make it sound legit between recordings, but then the DJ would come on like "new single by ____ here on 107.7 and fuck it all up lol". You could record over ANY tape if you put toilet paper in the little hole on top of the tape deck. hahah only G's knew that trick.
toilet paper, why didnt anybody tell me then, i would have to scrounge for some scotch tape and take it off a vhs tape. i dont know how many songs i missed recording not being able to find scotch tape.
Who else used to get their McGuiver on and put two little crumpled up pieces of paper into the two little square holes on top of the cassette of your mom's old tapes and record over 'em ?
Edit: Just saw this mentioned...but the trick is still tight
