he gets paid regardless cuz he owns all the masters to his beats so how is that stealing?

daz was under contract with death row who was "paying" him. Therefore the intellectual property is property of death row, not daz, even thought he was all the creative talent behind it. Same thing happens in the software world. just becasue u make it dont mean its yours, harsh reality. suge paid for the studio and time of daz. all this gets hazy when suge renigs on a contract and doesnt pay though. Contractual obligations and legality out weigh who people believe should be credited and compenstaed for labor.

^^ Suge didn't pay for the tracks to be recorded, basically they were just recorded at Suge's studio. Daz wrote them, did the beats, and then Suge wouldn't release them. If they were released, they would be deathrow property, but since they were never released, they never existed legally. ESPECIALLY if you're the producer, because you'd have the master tapes anyways.
