^^^^^^^^^^I didnt mean that he was a norteno or anythang when I said farmer. I meant that he was a farm laborer, and put " " around farmer as a twist cause I am a famero I understand it looked like that though. I really didnt believe he picked grapes cause it is always said his dad/uncle? pedro had a studio and he was brought up in the studio.
And about the Lupillo thang. My argument was that he was born in Mexico, plain and simple that is all I have heard in interviews and in concerts I have been at where he performs. Also my point that he is and never was a cholo. maybe grew up around it and influenced by it, but that doesnt mean shit. Also it is always stressed, again at concerts and interviews when he comes perform in the area, that he was always at the studio from a youngster and by chance he started to perform music. also when he talks at concerts I hear fluent spanish unless the microphone he is using is distorting shit. I personally dont listen to him cause him and jesse morales overdue Chalino wannabe tracks. I mean he did know him and sign to his label but Lupillo to me atleast doesnt cut it when doing chalino. Plus he does eveyone elses songs which is common in spanish music but atleast remakes sound ok or decent, and his versions are horrible like. El Rey, el mismo, tragos amargos, etc.......... The only remake that sounds ok is "te solte la rienda'' and that is a Jimenez remake not a chalino one.
so again my posting is that he was born in mexico, which is always said at his concerts. and not that he lived overhere in Fresno I just threw that in with no point. He did grow up in long beach but as an honor roll student type of kid. all this talk that he was a cholo, chicano, and spoke broken spanish seemed like nonsense to me.
and question, is jesse morales an ex hunnington park cholo, I remeber I lived there a couple of years and his bitch ass was always brought up over there as being a singer from there. That was a fucked up time for me straight drama overthere and everyone knew I was a norteno and what a norteno was, contrary to what everyone says on here.
