you know how alot fools are on the siccness. a artist automatically weak bc they signed to a major, or successful in the mainstream level. This album will be a top seller though no matter what. and its def tight and possibly on the level of being a classic in due time. also imo i like this carter the best out the other 3. He just sounds way more tuned lyrically. That prison time helped him focus and clear his mind and comeback.
This is true, too many people ride the Siccness bandwagon, but there is nothing wrong with staying real & giving credit where credit is due. Regardless, C-IV will sell more than any Siccness rapper on any of these boards. And that's not hating, nor a dis at anybody. That is a reality.

I've said it before & I'll say it again, I read a lot of shit on these boards and fools claiming not to support mainstream rappers, but them same people know everything about those mainstream rappers. Artist like 50 Cent, Lil Wayne etc. are artist that have sold way over a million records & these dudes claiming they didn't buy those albums? LMAO!!!!!!!!! Somebody's lyin' in here HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

On topic, Yes, I downloaded Carter IV, but I will also be buying it for a few reasons. One, I think it's tight & it's a classic in my book. Two, as a collector it's a must have due to it being a highly anticipated rap album in a day & age where music sales are dying. And three, albums like this are keeping the rap game hanging on by it's fingertips & shows there is still hope to keep Hip Hop / music alive.

Exactly perfectly posted.

and almost all them siccness rappers are doing music bc they wanna or wish they can get to the career level that wayne or any mainstream artists is on and if they say they not then they a damn lie and making them self look like they jumping on the i wanna be a rapper bandwagon. its true though with any success rather its music or being a hotel manager theres always gonna be others hating bc they want your position.

imo i dont worry about if a artists selling or where they from etc. Long as they making music i feel or relate too then imma support them and give them props. Wayne proved to me he a true artist bc honestly i didnt know what to expect outta this album then i heard it and was like damn he never runs outta fresh sounds, ideas and he topped the last album. not too many artist can drop 4 back to back banging ass classic albums. So imo Wayne def is in that elite class of rappers. Also i like how he shared the spotlight with other rappers (interlude, outro) now thats luv. He gave tech & popularity will increase in the future due to this.

This is the first Lil Wayne album I have D/L let alone listened all the way through. My verdict still stands...... Lil Wayne is a horrible rapper.

If this is what is keeping rap "hanging by it's fingertips" we mine as well cut them bitches off and let hip hop die.
