Robs style is sick. off flow off beat? shit not even like that i bump his older shit i dont like his new album though. some one in here put he goin soft shit he aint goin soft hes always had his slow shit for example "Linda Mujer". If rob makes it I dont mind him reppin my race. This album might have been a scam why u think fingaz made his beats dont get me wrong fingaz is fuckin sick but he made one of the best beats for his single "summer nights" its a good song so everyone thought it would be a good album. By doin this he sold alot becuase the album was wack but people bought it not knowin and even if it was wack it all added up on the charts his units are lookin good. But the reason why he made this album wack wassent on accident he had a reason i think this was his plan.
1.Put a hit single
2.Get it played everywhere
3.Stay Indie
4.Make Major Labels Reconize
Face it hes waiting for his contract to be up with upstairs he has 2 more cd's out i bet theyll both be the same as 1218 wack but with a good radio hit so he can keep on giving these major labls reason to sign him. hes gunna put these albums out quick cuz he tryin to get signed to a major label quick if that backfires he will have enough promotion to have his own label and his shit will get pushed indie. terror squad fuck that shit i dont like none of there shit they to mainstream at least rob still has the neighberhood style. Of course even if he wanted to he couldnt sign cuz he fucked up when he signed a contract for that long. THE MUSIC BIZ IS FULL OF SNAKES.I bet most of these haterz in here put there $15.99 and bought his shit n pissed off cuz they got soem bullshit for that price. well thats the way it is. hes outsmarting his label.

good post, he has to make smart moves cause lowprofilerecords ripped him off, but his next album is going to be better cause he knows he will get a reputation of making sorry albums and he doesnt want to get that rep so trust me next time he's comming out with some still smoking/neighborhoodmusic type of shit.

This all sounds very reasonable, and yes this most definitley is probably his game plan, but I find this is kinda like "selling out" dont you? I mean let the man do his thing, but DAMN i found this album to be extremely horrible. I dont understand how a lil rob fan who enjoyed his work before neighbourhood music (which wasnt bad, but not really my thing) could enjoy this album!

I seriously doubt that homie. If the money comes in on this one, which is probably doin better than any of his other albums, hes gonna stick with the formula and get his paper. Yes, alot of us that have been listening to rob for a while feel this is a weak album, but ALOT MORE people enjoy this style more, and thats where the moneys at.

i was just in los angeles and i was suprised to hear his shit on the beat in l.a,blood is getting major air play in l.a.!!!!wow,what the fuck!!!and people was telling me blood gets air play in texas also,i guess the business is more politics than business,lik they say blood,90% of the record industry is business and the rest 10% is talent,whaqt the fuck!!!i still think hes garbage to be honest but that doesn't effect his business knowledge of getting exposure the right way,i can't be mad.

he's also getting radio play in wierd places like florida, there's chicanos down there that are all happy & shit cause they've never heard a chicano rapper on the radio, he's getting radio play in the mid west, in NY, etc....
