I swear, that's why I love siccness/bart, ain't no ass kissing on here. Folks really tell you how they feel, and I LOVE AND RESPECT that. Rocc, you know I respect your opinion, and the average consumer's opinion too, but I don't think there's too many covers that everybody agrees on on here. Shit, it's going to be some people that like this cover better than the soundtrac cover, and vice versa. I think I just gotta live with my taste in covers, cuz every project I put it out some people have never really liked the covers, but I always loved them, and when it comes to this I always roll with my taste. I'm more open when it comes to my music though. I love this, and the soundtrac cover. Thanks for the input ya'll. For real.

@T-Dubb, yeah those are bullet holes
@Rocc, yeah Mic Loc is in The Mobstaz now. That's my nigga. It's just that when I got out he was already in the GMC's with Haywire, but he's always been a part of Ghetto World. That was my nigga before I went to the feds. That's one of my real homies. Plus he's hella heated!!!! Ain't too many niggaz seein' Mic Loc.

I feel you E, but I'm cool homey. For real. And this ain't no pride shit. I really like it. And as a consumer myself if I seen the cover, I'd picc it up, and then read the album titles, if the titles were creative, then I'd ask an opinion on the music. Then possibly cop it. Just my opinion. Everybody has different taste though. 1

The cover looks kinda plain to me, but hey thats just my opinion. Also if you a real fan it shouldn't really matter what the cover looks like as long as you got some heat on the cd thats underneath that cover.

im not big on the cover either but.....a great deal of CS sales come from him out on the street doing that face to face gorilla marketing and at that point he dont need a cover at all cuz hes face to face promoting it.....

but to be honest it wouldnt make me want to pick it up if i didnt know of his work

the idea is good but the execution should be retooled

Thanks for the feedbac ya'll. Actually plain and kind of simple and to the point was what I was goin' for, cuz I don't feel all the real flamboyant covers. But that's just me. But some of the most successful albums have had plain covers (I'm not sayin' I like all these covers or albums though).

2pac - all eyez on me (just him sittin' in a chair throwin' up the W)
Dr. Dre - Chronic w/hat on w/white baccground
Dr. Dre - Chronic 2001 - plain blac cover without a picture. just a greenleaf
Jay-Z - all of his albums are just his picture with a plain white baccground
Eminem - all of his covers have been plain and basic
Nelly - first album white baccground with just him standin' there. His 2nd album just his face with a headband on.

I can go on, but it ain't that serious. But the days of people goin' into the store and buying an album on how good the cover looks are gone! The game is too saturated. If someone hasn't heard about you, or your music, chances are they're not going get your album anyway, no matter what the cover looks like. People walk into the store already knowin' what they're lookin' for, and are going to buy. About time The Mobstaz album comes out, that will be my 4th release, and people will already know only heat is associated with my name. They would've already heard my music, or about me which would make them interested. I can name a gang of undergound artists that have had super tight covers (which some I wasn't feelin'. Some people just try to do TOO MUCH) that didn't go ghetto aluminum, then luni's "in the mouth of madness" is ghetto platinum. But when you look at somethin'with the intentions of finding somethin' wrong, you will. So it's all a matter of preference. It's all love ya'll. Thanks for the feedbac though. I think I just got fucced up taste, cuz I still love it. 1

Thanks for your honesty dog, and everyone else. For real! But you stated exactly what I was sayin', people aren't buyin' albums nowadays if they don't know of their work. Too many people have gotten burnt on albums w/tight covers, and wacc music. And you're right, I sell a lot hand to hand, but my shit flies off the shelves out here too, especially when it first comes out. I was the top seller at the Bam when my album first came out(aug. 2001), and was the top local seller at the wherehouse in plaza bonita. 1 luv. And please don't think I'm trippin' off you guys' honesty. I appreciate it, for real...

Just for the record. How did ya'll feel about the Dollars & Sins cover?

Dam, I've been starin' at this cover after all ya'll said you didn't like it, tryin' to make myself not like it, but I can't. I still like it. I guess we're stucc with it. Hope ya'll still buy it. Ghetto World gaurantees heat!!!!

C.S. I feel u on the point of people aren't lookin @the cover as much when they're deciding what 2 spend on, but I think a "generic" cover DEFINATLY can lose u sales.
As a consumer, if I wanna buy something by referal, especially if I've never heard of the artist, & the cover looks like they didn't care, that's the opinoin I'll take 2 their music. If I have heard of an artist, then it don't matter as much.
I know u'r known already but, when it's time 2 step up 2 the next level (when people r really gettin wind of u & most of them have never heard of u) this kinda thing is VERY important. It needs 2 go beyond "I like this & that's that" & b evelated 2 "what's gonna b as eye catching as the music is ear catching". Everybody is watching & when we step out Dago needs 2 have ALL areas covered so the world will know that we're just as professional, maticulous, driven,& dedicated as any other city in the world.
I'm just gettin @u as a businessman, ur producer, & as a fellow SDC nigga tryin 2 swim. LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED. 1

I would pass it by too, if I never heard of the music no matter what the cover is.

Point taken E. But out of all the Dago releases me, mitchy, irocc, and shit that's finna come out etc none of us in my opinion has had a bomb cover that's spectacular. What Dago cover so far has been hella tight? Maybe we need to re-evaluate what we're doin', and what majors are lookin' for cuz all the major factors in the game covers are plain (Eminem, Dre, Jay-Z etc). I mean how many times can the city baccground be used on a cover. And that goes for the bay all the way to dago covers (I used that on Dollars & Sins on the bacc). I really will never believe that someone would look at that cover and say I didn't care. Maybe that's just me. Look at Lil Flip's Leprachan cover, that shit with the Luccy Charms cereal box, and he's in a green suit. That shit sold 100,000 units underground. When was the last time anyone bought a cd based on a cover?

I really can't see what is so horrible about it. Do you guys have any suggestions? If you do, watch how different everybody's suggestion is...cuz everybody has different tastes. And most people go with the majority, so now if there's someone that really did like the cover besides me they're not going to say it now...Hit me with suggestions ya'll. Try to make me see what ya'll are seeing. Please...1

This is Big Mike from Dago/Kansas, anyways I agree with the others to an extent, maybe you could stick with the basic idea but get a new pic of the Mobstaz, maybe even make the cover like a wild west wanted poster. I still a poster means a good deal, I first heard of you because I liked the cover to your second album, and just teh otehr day I picked up some CD's because of teh covers. Anyways yuor tight as fuck as a rapper and thats what matetrs most anyways.

Forreals some type of wild west wanted poster type shit would be aight. I was fliping through my cds and I came across the Mac Dre compalation: Mac Dammit Man & Friends, and that has some type of wild west type feel(w/o the western clothes tho). Maybe you could kinda go that same route if not better .

That's what I'm talkin' about, suggestions. It's still going to be on the "In The Ghetto World" soundtrac like this, but we have plenty of time to change it. I STILL like this one though.

What's up Big Mike? Got some new shit gettin' ready to come out. The soundtrac is super tight!!!!

I feel you blur2000celica. That's a good idea....1

Rocc and E hit me with some suggestions. You know I listen to ya'll niggaz.
